Good lunch menu - Edit
They offer a very good lunch menu that is good value for money and high quality. However, the sushi rolls that you could order separately were a little small and the rice was a little hard Unfortunately, the staff were a little unfriendly during our visit. Overall, it's a solid restaurant, especially for lunch.

Food was presented artfully and served quickly; however, the dishes lacked dominant flavors. The boldest sauce was the teriyaki-esque gravy on the bento box vegetables. The sushi had some nice textures, but was nothing exciting. Maki rolls began to unroll after a few minutes. Bottled water was served 15 minutes after ordering despite it being a hot day. Service okay.

I was excited to try out this place as it seemed like they have many creative options for sushi. It was okay, but I felt like the flavor was lacking. Pretty much all the rolls tasted the same to me. I’ve had way better vegan sushi, not sure what exactly was missing here. Also, service is not great - pretty slow

Everything was wonderful. I went with some vegan and vegetarian friends from college while on our trip to Berlin and not a single one of us was disappointed. They had the bento box and I had the mushroom an truffle udon noodles with some yakitori I shared with a friend. Everything tasted so good, and it was so filling and the prices were not that high. Plus, the atmosphere and staff were really welcoming, and we enjoyed it.

Secret; Yes. Garden; No. Tired interior decor. Average food imo. I chose this restaurant because it had so many positive reviews. I can normally rely on Happy Cow Reviews - and the HC Community. However, on this occasion I was disappointed. Fried overcooked sushi rice and a miserable atmosphere imo.

As someone who's never had fish based seafood I was very excited to find a fully vegan sushi place and it didnt disappoint. We got the solo platter and a few extra bits and it was all very good, I avoided the fake fish as it scared me a little (never eaten seafood) 😅 but loved it as a whole! Only knocking a star off as the drinks were just okay and staff weren't super lovely && I cant compare to any other sushi. Would definitely recommend 🩷

Vegan Japanese restaurant, known for their sushi. Food was nicely presented but didn’t quite live up to my expectations taste-wise. Unfortunately the staff made me feel quite unwelcome too. REWE voll pflanzlich, a vegan outlet of a German supermarket chain, is located within the same building. Near Warschauer Straße S-Bahn and U-Bahn station, also within walking distance from East Side Gallery.

Erstmal ist das Ambiente mega schön und auch das Essen ist sehr lecker. Ich kann besonders dazu raten die Yakitori Spieße zu probieren. Die sind mein Favorit! Aufpassen sollte man allerdings bei der Bezahlung, da Visa und Kreditkarte nicht akzeptiert werden. Ansonsten sehr empfehlenswert und ich komme gerne wieder.

The restaurant is above a complete vegan Rewe supermarket (bonus points). We ordered a menu for 4 and it comes with a lot of different pieces - edamame, crispy rolls, seaweed, nigiri, sushi, etc. I liked every single one of them, as well as the presentation. Some tables have a view to the street from above. The tables have moss below the glass which gives an extra nice touch.

We were here two times in two days, one a surprise and one planned. All the food was delicious and the presentation was delightful. Ordering was a bit confusing for this non-German speaking person. Also, the toilet in the bathroom needed some repair. Also note that they do not take credit cards or anything but local debit cards.

On the one hand, the ambiance is good and the cause is amazing. But the quality of the sushi seems lower than what they make at Edeka because they seem to keep it in the freezer probably to speed up the service. The waiter was unpleasant and the cash policy is sketchy. When they were not able to give me change they said that I can pay by card (they have the option, just tend not to use it). All in all, I wish there were more restaurants like this but better managed in the aspects above. It is a big responsibility since you are pioneering the normalization of vegan food. I am not sure these people are up to the task

The price is perhaps slightly too high, but it is very centrally located.

Came here with a group of 15. Knew pretty much straight away that they were going to struggle - longer wait or dishes coming out at different times I would have understood but they were pretty disorganised and so not everyone got the dishes they had ordered, the bill didn’t add up and the service was typical Berlin, aka not customer focused.
Read moreHaving said that, the decor, atmosphere and food are really nice. So perhaps as a couple to four people this would be nice. Location is good, very close to Warschauer Straße, so easy to reach with public transport.
All in all, based on the evening I experienced, I won’t be back unless one of my friend’s insists to try again.Located on first floor above the plant based REWE.

We went as a group. Ordering was a major pain (not enough sheets of paper or pens and only a few menus for a table of 15), the service was quite slow, and then half the dishes didn't arrive, or were sent to the wrong people. The staff were pretty brusque too.
