Incredible vegan sushi - Edit
Each different sushi is a work of art. All are presented with dry ice mixed with water, making for a magical moment before you decide which piece to eat first. It's very popular, and when we went (Saturday night at 6:30pm) it was very busy, but we were able to get a table for three without a problem. The food was delicious. Highly recommended.

Great sushi - Edit
The three of us had the platter for 4 and thoroughly enjoyed it. You can take the sushi with black rice which is an eye catcher in an already very well presented meal.

Best sushi I’ve ever had - Edit
When it comes to vegan sushi, I mostly experience the same kind of cucumber, avocado and mango. But this place are so extremely creative in their cooking. Enoki mushrooms, deep fried rolls, truffle rolls and so much more.
Read moreThe staff was very weird tho. I don’t know if it was a language barrier but they were very weird. Not necessarily rude, but they were just quite short with us.
But all the food was 10/10. Well… not all of it. We also ordered a Vietnamese, rice paper roll that was extremely bland and dry. Avoid that and go all in for all the sushi. My partner also got a Rosehip tea that was insane. Highly recommend for everyone to go!

On of the best vegan makis in Berlin - Edit
An innovative place for vegan sushi and maki.
Read moreOn the 1st floor of a building, quite hard to find at first, but once you're there, the place is very welcoming.
I tasted special makis with vegan salmon and vegan cheese.
The spring rolls with peanut sauce are a real treat!
The presentation of the dishes is perfect.

Amazing sushi - Edit
My friend and I tried several different options and all of them were great! Definitely eager to come back and try the whole menu 🙈.
Read moreUnfortunately, staff was quite unattentive and seemed liked they didn’t want to work. However, my friend had been there a couple of times before and said they‘re usually very friendly and quick on their feet, so I‘ll give them a pass on here.
Pros: So many options

Awesome place - Edit
It is awesome to have an all vegan sushi restaurant. They had a lot of variety.
Read moreSome of the pieces were better than others. Especially some of the deep fried ones were overpowered by the "fry taste". We got the 4 person menu for 2 people and managed to finish it all

Great all-vegan menu - Edit
Amazing modern menu, lots of sushi, nice drinks and bowls. Some of the menu items have a high focus on presentation with dry ice as well. Evenings/Weekends reservations are highly recommended.

Don't like it - Edit
Food expensive, not the best quality, staff nothing to write home about, my drink was not good at all. Doesn't have aircon so don't even think about going on a hot summer day.

Espectacular - Edit
El Secret Garden no solo es el primer restaurante japonés que se abrió en Berlín si no que además hacen fusión y los platos son un show. Es un poco caro pero la experiencia vale mucho la pena.

More show than flavour - Edit
The sushi is mediocre at best and the service is not really outstanding. The interior hasn't been updated in years and they basically don't accept cards. The sushi looks nice but something is lacking. I cannot recommend it for this price.

Cool representation, but that's about it - Edit
It was a really cool representiation of the sushi when it arrived. The food was good but I've eaten so much better sushi than this.

A bit run down - Edit
I really like casual dining places and am not picky about the interior in general. The place has a pseudo fancy interior, but seems a bit run down. Our table was really sticky so we asked for it to be cleaned, but they used a rag reeking of beer. Not the best to start a nice dining experience.
Read moreThe menu is quite extensive and promising. We ordered the signature dish for two to get to taste a great variety. The food arrived within minutes (all prepared and waiting?) and the presentation was nice. However, most of the rolls were not as flavorful and creatively combined as expected.
The whole experience seemed a bit rushed and I've been to better all vegan sushi places. I might still come back if I'm in the area and craving sushi.
Pros: All vegan sushi, Central location
Cons: Staff a bit bored and not friendly, No amazing flavors in our order
