So Awesome! - Edit
I rode my bike down to Sebastian's Place today form Cranbourne West: https://www.strava.com/activities/538960665.
I ordered the mushroom stroganoff and a falafel. They were both fantastic.
The staff were amiable and the atmosphere authentic. Whilst I ate many carnists came in looking for coffee and a bite to eat, and all were told "We don't serve cow's milk here." I liked that.
There are just too many good things to say about Sebastian's place, right now, (it's dinner time.)
Pop in for breakfast or lunch, or just for a coffee that won't give you dose of cognitive dissonance, or cancer.
Finally, there is an all vegan local eatery were vegans can meet up and plan the resistance, it's called Sebastian's Place. A change is coming.
Go Vegan!

Delicious food! - Edit
Stoked to have this gem of a cafe in Chelsea. The food is delicious and the staff lovely. It's got a great vibe. I'd highly recommend the burgers, nachos and 'fish' and chips.
Pros: cruelty free food, staff, atmosphere

Yum! - Edit
So exciting to have this place in Chelsea!
My omni Dad is obsessed with the nachos here (they're amazing) and I am a fan of just about everything :D
The food is all made fresh and on the spot (hence the small wait others have mentioned), it's well worth it!
A lot of work has gone into transforming this place and good on them! Open Sunday too yay!
Pros: Open Sunday!, Delicious food!, Accommodating for gluten free

Better for sweets - Edit
I have visited this Cafe twice, once having savoury food and once having cakes. The cakes and baked good were totally amazing however I wasn't too impressed with my choice of hot food which was the big vegan plate. However I will go try some more on the menu before I give up on savoury. Recommended for coffee and cake.

Great birthday party! - Edit
Celebrated a 40th here and all the food was so delicious! The staff were very accommodating, and it was a party for about 20. The jaffa cheesecake was delicious along with all the entree platters. Even though the other guests were not vegan, they enjoyed the food. Was the perfect spot for our little party, loved it!
Pros: Very accommodating to needs, Delicious food, Entire menu was vegan!
Cons: A number of the menu items weren't avail, Coffee needs to be stronger and hotter

We were impressed with the quality and way the cafe catered to our needs and requests.
Absolutely will come again ☺️ thank you!!

OMG Foodgasm - Edit
First time visiting Street Espress Cafe since the new owners took over and blown away! The coffee was amazing with almond cashew milk. The range of milks - almond, soy, rice, coconut, almond cashew & almond coconut is a lovely change from the typical just soy milk in most cafes! My son had a strawberry coconut milk shake which was made with real strawberries. Such a lovely refreshing and healthy alternative to the norm!
I have never in my life had such an amazing Vegan Big Breakfast. Scramble Tofu, Mushrooms, Avocados & Beans on Sourdough Rye with sprinkles of pepitas. Could definitely be shared between two people, the portion size was huge!! It should be called the Huge Vegan Breakfast!
My son had the Nachos of which he was very excited about. Another huge serving with delicious guacamole & sour cream.
To finish off we had a brownie and a baked donut! We couldnt move at the end but still wished we could of eaten more of the amazing sweets!
We will be heading back soon to celebrate a birthday with the whole family!
So happy to have this beautiful vegan place!
Thank you
Pros: Food selection, Kids Menu, Outstanding Sweets
Cons: Not open in evenings, Yet???

A long way to go - Edit
Very disappointing in every respect. Good luck to them, but a great deal of work will be required.
Not sure why the first review states that everything is Vegan. That is not correct.

Dawson1303 14 Sep 2015 - It sounds like you are reviewing wild yam cafe?
verbosity 15 Sep 2015 - I have never been to wild yam cafe, so no.
Found it very interesting to see your very positive review of street espress though (along with 2 clearly fake reviews by other people of the same establishment) and then your very negative review of wild yam that happens to be in close location to street espress. I neglected to mention a couple of negative points about street espress cafe (as well as a couple of serious issues) in my review. I did contact them directly about a couple of them though and hopefully they have remedied them.

Concerning - Edit
Had great expectations for this place, but they have a long way to go before they are ticking boxes.
Stood at the counter waiting to order for quite some time before even being acknowledged. The cafe was not overly busy...
We ordered the Big Vegan breakfast and the Mean Black Bean Burger along with some coffees. Waited 15-20 minutes for our coffee, and 50 minutes for our meals to arrive.
The Big Vegan breakfast was $16 and was quite a small meal. The Mean Black Bean Burger at $14 used a processed Gardein burger, a very average bread roll and pre-purchased sour cream (Tofutti) and came with no sides.
We also noticed the barista using the blender labelled "non dairy only" to make a dairy milk shake...

absolutely fantastic - Edit
My partner and I ate at this lovely cafe yesterday and were so impressed I went back there today with my Mum. The ambience/vibe/energy is warm and inviting, the service attentive and friendly and the range, freshness and quality of food tremendous - such an imaginative menu with great variety and pretty much all vegan with vegan cheese, creams and faux meats used in many dishes. Healthy and tasty fruit juices are also available. Home made desserts top it off. This place has got everything right in this reviewers opinion. Thus far i've tried the satay wrap and vegan nachos and look forward to working my way through the entire menu! The vegan fish and chips looked good and apparently tasted good too.
Pros: imaginative menu with great variety, dairy free cheese and faux meats, fresh home made food and drinks
Cons: none found

Great food and great service - Edit
Carrie and Paul have created an amazing cafe. I have recommended at least 10 people go there and we're heading back for a fathers day brunch this Sunday.
Last time I was there I had the big breakfast and it was amazing!
When I left I also took with me donuts and a vanilla slice. All VEGAN.
In my excitement I forgot to pay and that didn't bother Carrie. I just put money in an envelope when I was next down that way and slide it under the door.
Very cool cafe with very cool owners.
Pros: Everything is vegan, The selection is huge, Service is brilliant
Cons: none
