Cancelled booking - Edit
I would give zero stars if it was an option. My partner was assured by the owner that they could cater for vegans if given notice. I booked online months in advance and then went to the restaurant a few days before the booking to double check they saw my request. The woman I spoke to said they “might be able to pick the cheese out of the Greek salad” or I could have hummus. As this was my 50th birthday, we decided to go elsewhere.

Not very vegan-friendly - Edit
Tried this place on the basis of other reviews but wish that we hadn’t. The only thing marked as vegan on the menu was hummus, so I asked the waitress if it was possible for any starter and any main to be made vegan. She didn’t know, so she called over another waitress, who said that the vegetarian mezze board could be made vegan and that they could make vegetable spaghetti as a main. When the mezze board arrived, it had cheese and other dairy products on it. We explained that it wasn’t vegan and they apologized and said they didn’t realize vegans can’t have dairy, and brought over a small potato salad instead. The spaghetti seemed to be vegan but was pretty plain.

Situated in the middle of town, great location.

The food was excellent, there are lots of veggie choices on the menu, which can be easily adapted to vegan.
Atmosphere was really nice.
Due the busy season it's best to book on advance as it gets very busy.

amazing vegan experience in a non-vegan place - Edit
We went to Sebastian's taverna expecting to get a 'vegan option' like greek salad without feta. Nothing close to that. We were greeted by the owner who managed to squeeze us in even though all of the tables were pre-booked for the evening. There are a few vegetarian dishes on the menu, from which some of those either are already or can be made vegan. With that being the case, when we were paying for the lovely dinner, the owner said to call a few hours in advance next time so that they can prep something specifically according to what we can and cannot eat, which is amazing.
