Nice Food, Could Be Better for Vegans.

I was pleased to get to try the newly opened SeaView restaurant tonight as they had a couple of vegan options in their own section on the menu.The restaurant is spacious, and the staff are really nice. The food is honestly super tasty, too. Unfortunately, I was not filled with confidence as a vegan.

The member of staff taking my order did not seem familiar with the vegan dish I ordered (Seaview Special Zucchini). When my food did come, they had brought the wrong dish and served me fish. They were super nice about it and took the food away, and the correct order arrived within ten minutes. However, when explaining the situation to the staff, they kept calling me a 'Vegetarian' even though I kept correcting them. It makes me worry as they told me my Mushroom Rice and Tarka Dahl were vegan, but perhaps they may have had dairy in them, and maybe even my main was only suitable for vegeterians? This is all speculation, of course, but this is a genuine worry as someone taking a stand against animal agriculture, especially dairy farming.

The rest of my party enjoyed their food (non-vegans), and I would return to SeaView if I saw that they catered better to vegans through social media or on fellow reviews!
