Buffet style veg restaurant with plenty of variety, including everything from soup, salad, main entrees, snacks and dessert. Either small/large plate, or choose all-you-can-eat for approximately 10 Euros. No English spoken. Casual and nice. Reported closed to HappyCow Aug 2013.

This cafe is closed! They could changed it here as it already happened in November. We were walking and walking with an empty stomach to find a paper at the door. It mentioned the other Season cafe at the Rathausmarkt which is open until 7 pm. So, we went there. It was 6 pm and all they told us in an unfriendly manner: Feierabend.
Cons: bad communication

Very nice - Edit
Lots of vegan options, all very clearly marked. Very fresh food, all good quality, no drying out or wilted food here like you sometimes get in buffets. Weekdays at lunchtime can be very busy.
Pros: Fresh, Tasty

booring if you are vegan... - Edit
and if you have been in tibits in Zürich. This is the bad copy of that. We went here with a lot of hopes and it was disappointing... I'm expecting more from a buffet ... its getting booring to have always the same salads and vegetables. Vegan is more than that. No dessert for vegan... so only an option if you are there, you are hungry and everything else is closed.
Pros: cheap, buffett
Cons: no vegan dessert, booring choice of food

Quite nice - Edit
Got some lunch here after walking around the city center. Location is perfect as it's just steps away from the city hall. Decor was neat and clean. The day I went a lot of the salads were vegan, as were half of the hot dishes, but none of the desserts were. Everything was very well labeled ingredient-wise so identifying was a breeze. Food was tasty but could definitely use much less oil. It's a decent and convenient place for veg*ns to get some grub.
Pros: tasty, location
Cons: oily food

the best (for me) in hamburg - Edit
Wide choice, legumes, pasta, vegetables.
You can take the "buffet teller" which is a plate divided in 3 parts (about 9 euros) or a "kleine teller" (small plate).
You can fill them as you can. There is also a "all you can eat buffet" that costs 11/12 euro (9 on Saturdays).
And when you go out, you can take an apple (for free) in a basket near the exit door.
I don't remember how many vegan choice there were. for me, the price is fair (centre of hamburg) compared with other places I've been. and it's the only place where I've found legumes.
Pros: price, wide choice

Suits, cheese and fresh salads. - Edit
A bit too much business like for me, but good if vegetarian food is becoming mainstream. The buffet had a lot of options, unfortunately most of it was not vegan, a lot of cheese and cream, even eggs used. For vegans the warm food options were very poor. Also most food seemed to incl. sugar... 12 euros for the all you can eat buffet at lunch is a bit pricy, but its very central and the food was fresh and tasty. English was not spoken unlike happy.cow states.
If they had more vegan options I'd definitely give more cows than 3.
Pros: Wide buffet, Salads, Fresh
Cons: Not vegan, Expensive, Stiff

Delicious and practical - Edit
This is a perfect restaurant in the heart of Hamburg. The buffet is rich in variety, excellent and subtle in taste and changes regularly, so it really does not become boaring. Prices are fair. I waited for such restaurants
Pros: Rich in variety, excellent and subtle taste, changing choice

Vegans take note - Edit
A buffet restaurant with mostly all vegan items. Nothing special and really no place to take a date, but nice for a short break or emergencies on shopping weekends. Just one block from Season's other location (weird, huh?!).
