Update 8/31/24: So incredibly sad that they are closing. The food is so incredible that I came to town for the 3 day weekend so I could enjoy it one more time.
Read moreThis is always my first stop when I come back to Long Beach. The food is always AMAZING! I just finished off the BBQ burger. My sister and niece, who are not vegan, also love this place. The chocolate mousse is probably their favorite.
The service is always on point. Everyone is always friendly.
I wish I still lived in Long Beach. I would be here at least once a week.

So I heard this place was closing on 9/8 and a friend had told me how good it was, so we stopped in for dinner. We shared the Burnt Brussels Sprouts, Jackfruit Nachos, and the Bibimbap Bowl.
Read moreAll were delicious! The Brussels sprouts were exactly as advertised, burnt, but full of flavor and not that charred taste. They had a bit of a kick, too, almost tasting like they were over salted, but it was actually the spice.
The nachos were great, too. The melty cheese sauce, the big chunks of jackfruit, the beans. It was all in there, and super tasty!
The bibimbap had bits of kimchi, nuts, kale, and more, and it was also super tasty! There was plenty of food for the two of us to share, as portions are pretty big. There was only a single waitperson and one food runner, so the restaurant was not packed. There were maybe 20% of the tables empty, but the service was spot on, getting us in and out in an hour and we even waited to be seated.
Sorry I only got to visit the one time, but glad I did. Maybe I'll go check out the other locations.

Dining here with friends meant that I could sample more dishes. The butternut squash enchiladas filled with butternut squash, mushrooms and spinach, and topped with creamy pasilla sauce, was a favorite entree. The chaffle is fun to share. There are four churro waffle quarters topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and chopped walnuts.

I went to eat there with my parents, I am a vegan but they are not. The food is good but not as impressive as I expected. We don’t like cilantro, and my parents fond it in different greens, even when not mentioned on the menu. We got the famous chaffel and it was really good. I had the breakfast biscuit and it was good but very dry. My father got the bbq burger, but they brought the beet-me burger, we didn’t know, because it was the first time we ate there.

Love that this restaurant has all the varieties and kinds of options. Some fantastic choices. Restaurant is small and cool, well decorated and nice vibe. Loved that they had vegan, gluten free and non alcoholic options. Even my chef friend approved and remarked he was coming back to bring his Omni family because he knew they would live it.

Everything here was chef’s kiss! My visit was in person and I ordered the Beets Me Burger! The Beets Me burger was so delicious and I loved the fact that it was made from mushrooms and beets. The flavor was amazing and the brioche bun was nicely toasted. I ordered the Biscuit Bomb and through UberEats and it is The Bomb! The biscuit was nice and soft and all of the flavors paired well together. The Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup did not disappoint! I will definitely be back for another visit whenever I’m in this area!

Honestly, everything that I've tried has been good; I can't think of a single bad dish. But most of the time, when I order from here I get the breakfast burrito; that walnut chorizo is so good.
Big portions, reasonable prices (for LA), and nice service. Their Los Feliz location used to be a bit slow in terms of service, but ordering to-go is usually fine. I hope they add a new spot somewhere closer to the valley! But if not, I don't care; I'll be driving to Long Beach as often as I have to, lol.

First off the atmosphere was very clean, bright, open, and stylish. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Caesar salad and grilled cheese with tomato soup, and chaffle for dessert. Such simple items but they were phenomenal. High quality ingredients, made from scratch (no big brand name processed ingredients which I love), beautiful cooking technique and presentation, and amazing flavor. And close to the beach for a nice walk to help your food settle!

The vibe was much better because one of the servers was a rockstar. He knowledges me with in a couple of minutes and seated me promptly. His serve throughout my meal was attentive and very hospitable.
I ordered the Warm Cauliflower salad, and the server asked if I would like to add avocado. I love avocado so opt for “Yes”.
The plate was a so delicious. It has the lightly grilled cauliflower florets, fresh mixed greens, sauerkraut (or some fermented vegetables), with great dressing.
I was full after my salad but decided to get the Whisky Peach Cobbler. The first bite has a bit of stronger alcohol taste for me, and because I don’t like the taste of alcohol I was worried. But I was glad that was only the first a couple bites.
The whole meal was so enjoyable it put happy smiles on my face.
Highly recommended to visit Seabirds Kitchen. Both have great delicious food and desserts. Based on my separate visits, the Long Beach has much better and friendly service.

Food here is reliably good. I’ve been to the Costa Mesa and Long Beach locations and have always had a good experience in terms of food quality. I had the Old Town Grilled Cheese with tomato soup and the Jackfruit Nachos during my last visit to the Long Beach branch and of course, I was not disappointed. The vibe at this location is quite cool too. I look forward to coming back again.

The restaurant is cute and offers both indoor and outdoor seating. There were so many things on the menu -it was hard to make a decision on what to order.
