Amazing!! - Edit
The food was amazing and the owner is really friendly. I had the vegan cheese melt, and it practically melted in my mouth!😊
Read moreThe only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the facility. There are no public bathrooms and the seating is outside (but covered). When the weather is nice the seating isn't a problem. But having to drive a few miles to a fast food restaurant to use the bathroom was a bummer. Not a reason to avoid the place, just plan well. Or wear a diaper!🤣😂
Pros: Amazing food and friendly owner.
Cons: No bathrooms or indoor seating.

Hidden gem of deliciousness! - Edit
Amazing find on our way from the mountains of western NC. Super friendly staff, and the food was awesome. One of the employees told us about an open space out back for us to run and stretch with our 3 yr old since we had been in the car all day. The owner John , offered a cookie, on the house, to our little one as well. Highly recommend!!!!

Great Vegan Option, if you can afford it - Edit
Completely stumbled upon this restaurant. It's been a long time since we had a dedicated Vegan restaurant anywhere near here, so it being on the other side of town didn't stop me from immediately hopping in the car and driving over. Staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. Tons of choices covering a variety of food moods! My 6 year old and I loved it and plan to keep coming back to try everything. June 2021 update: Given current economic impacts, I'm not surprised by the price increase. (I even support it!) But I am confused by the justification on the far-reaching decisions made. A dollar or two increase without adding more food, okay. $3-7 increase with lower end resulting in less food than previously provided for the same order? It doubled the total bill without a tradeoff, making this restaurant now an unaffordable luxury. This is that much more depressing when this is the only all-Vegan restaurant in area, turning a much needed dietary lifestyle into something unattainable for those who need it most. Still great tasting food, variety of options, and friendly staff. I hope the best for them, just can't afford anymore.

Amazing and Deeply Satisfying Food - Edit
We took a 3-hour trip to Roanoke to try out Screamin Vegan and it was completely worth it!!
Read moreThe selection of food was amazing. I tried nachos, chop steak sub, Brussels sprouts and fries (and a po’ boy to go). They were all delicious. The food was prepared in a way that you could tell that the chef really cares about what goes on your plate and clearly loves what he does.
Next time I’m even near Roanoke I’ll be making my way back here to get more delicious food!
Pros: Everything is Vegan, So many choices

Finally!! - Edit
As most consistent plant based vegans can attest to, finding restaurants and food places with more than 1 or 2 options is extremely hard, or you have to alter options by asking to take off the cheese, swap with avocado, or some other alternative. It gets old and eating out with family and/or friends isn’t fun because they are always doing their best to accommodate you’re eating needs which then get kicked to the curb anyway 🤦🏼♀️
Read moreSo FINALLY! Thank you Screaming Vegan and their neighbor VeganLord, my boyfriend and I have a place were we actually have options, and picking from the menu takes time with so many delicious options!
I can’t remember the last time I was able to order a double “cheese” burger that was substantial.
The menu is ALL 100% plant-based and the refreshing juices with Irish Seamoss quenches your thirst 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼❤️

I wish they would come to Delaware - Edit
Delicious is not even the word for this place. They gladly made sure that my post covid gift of not being able to eat certain foods any more was met. I had the hot dogs and my daughter had the falafel. It was sooo good! We both agree the asparagus is the best we ever had!

Great Spot!!! - Edit
We came across this on a road trip very hungry with not many options for us vegans for hours. We couldn’t believe this little vegan place with so many options! Super nice people working there and I love how it’s a small and open kitchen. They make the food right there in front of you. A delicious road trip stop for us.

Finally some vegan food! - Edit
I was on a road trip from NYC to Memphis and NEEDED vegan food, but I’d only arrive there a bit after closing - they were SO nice and stayed open for me. The food was basic (I’m probably biased coming from NYC vegan capital) but still great, especially the onion rings and the lemon pound cake! We loved those two items. Wishing them the best of luck! I’ll be back😄

Finally vegan options in Roanoke - Edit
Amazing!! Most of the options are vegan “soul” food, but they do have healthier options like the quinoa bowls. Only some options are gluten free, but none the less, the entire kitchen is vegan and the food is so so delicious

Just what I’ve been waiting for - Edit
I stopped here while passing through Roanoke with my partner, having found them on this app. I’m so very glad I did. This burgeoning business has a lot of potential and a lot of promise. A decently-sized menu of veganized fast food staples makes this an easy, quick, and satisfying jaunt, and is extremely accessible to non-vegan folk as well.
Read moreI chatted with the owner while he made my food (I got the spicy chicken sandwich with lemon pepper fries) and my conversation with him cemented my plan to tell everyone I can about this place. What friendly people! My partner and I agreed the food was delicious, and that we would surely return next time we pass through.
Now, because it is very very very new, the owner and staff are still working out the kinks of the business. Screamin’ Vegan still very much has a DIY-kind-of vibe, which in my opinion is definitely not a negative- just don’t go expecting an operation that looks and feels like McDonald’s. In a few months when they have an ironclad workflow and have finished renovating the space, this restaurant will be a force to be reckoned with.
The only downside is that their food is pretty pricey. This appears to me to also be because of how new the business is. In my opinion, worth it and certainly worth sharing.
Pros: 100% vegan fast food menu , Friendly staff, Delicious & clean-tasting
Cons: Expensive , Storefront isn’t quickly identifiable from road

Amazing Double Decker Burger - Edit
This place was amazing. The place is small and there is no where to eat inside but the food is amazing. My husband got the double decker burger which he said was the best he had ever since since becoming vegan. The meatball sub was good too and the chocolate cheesecake cupcakes were delicious.
