we got the chopped sub, western cheeseburger, and basic cheeseburger with sides of mac n cheese and fries and it was all delicious. it seemed like there was only one staff member there at the time but it didn't take too long to get our food. definitely want to go again to try other menu items if we can :)

Thought I'd check out the screaming vegan while in town. They definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the patty melt. Forget it being vegan for a minute, and this was one of the best patty melts I've ever had. It was juicy, messy, nicely grilled bread and packed with so much flavor. The fries were really good skin on fries. If you haven't yet, go check them out.

Everything online says it’s open. Website will not load most of its pages. Their links don’t even go to their own social media. Showed up during “open hours” and it’s completely dark inside. Don’t trust driving out of the way for them.

Good variety of options. I really wanted to try the oyster mushroom po’boy but they were out sadly. The western burger was a fantastic consolation. Definitely come back here

Was in south Virginia for a music festival and decided to drive here on a whim. The food was delicious. I went for a standard solid chicken sandwich, but there were a ton of options. The oatmeal raisin cookies were so good I had to buy out the daily stock. My partner got a "blue cheese" burger that was also 5/5. If you are in the area, I highly recommend.

We were passing through Roanoke today and, even though it was a bit early, we decided to stop for lunch. We were surprised to find this wonderful, small shop serving vegan creations (mostly grilled sandwiches). Loved the food.

I had the crab cake sandwich and the flavor was great. The texture was a little mushy but the taste more than made up for the mushiness. Plus, the guy was NICE. It was refreshing to have someone be understanding of my yappy pups tied outside and my general tendency toward confusion😋 Great place.

Amazing find while working in Roanoke for a couple of days! The owner/chef was so friendly and helpful. We went with the award-winning MAC Daddy Burger with a side of incredible brussel sprouts and the Chopped Burger Sub with a side of fries. Delicious! This is definitely one to stop by and try. They have outdoor seating or get takeout on a rainy day. The chef seems to be innovative and creative. We wish we were going to be in town longer to try more items!

Otw to Tennessee we found this place on happy cow and we are so glad we did! Both sandwiches my husband and I had were so good (sorry I can't remember the names!) and they were PILED HIGH with toppings! It was a lot of food! The fries weren't the greatest, but the sandwiches more than made up for it.

Visiting non-vegan family in Roanoke and hoping to find a place with vegan options at a restaurant everyone will find something yummy. I was grateful they were all willing to try this casual, all vegan cafe. So many choices, I wanted one of everything! The oyster po’boy and brussel sprouts were the right choice for me! SOOOOO Delish!! Brother and my spouse had the chopped steak sub… very tasty. Lemon cake was moist and yummy. Great conversation with the owner … inspiring origin story.

Got some food there several months back while visiting some friends- got a cheeze burger, chips, and banana pudding. The people working there were very friendly and helped explain some of the options. Food was everything I would have wanted it to be, and it really hit the spot. Hope I can return someday and try more of their stuff- there was so much I could have tried! BIG recommend.

My husband, daughter, and I were looking for vegan food on our way to Mooresville and came across rave reviews for Screaming Vegan - and they delivered! I got the po boy that others have praised, and it was excellent. My nonvegan husband loved his double decker burger, and we were all over the chili cheese fries. We tried both the strawberry and chocolate cakes. The chocolate cake was very rich, and our favorite the strawberry cake was so moist. They have several options for the kids meal. Our daughter got nuggets and fries. The service was friendly; he explained the menu to us after asking if it were our first visit. We plan to stop here on our return trip back home too. Highly recommended!

One of the best meals I've ever had in my life - Edit
That's not an exaggeration. I had to deliberately stop myself from wolfing down the oyster mushroom Po boy because the whole thing was just the absolute best thing ever. Every. Single. Ingredient. I would eat that every day if I could. The asparagus was grilled and it has been so long since I've had anything from a grill that I legit almost shed a tear. It was a little salty but in a good way. Again, a flavor explosion in my face I would have every single day if possible. I also had the chocolate cake and it was also delicious but a tad bit thick for me (I'm not a cake-lover by nature but I'll probably never get the chance to be here again so I seized the opportunity). The people were so friendly and kind, I really enjoyed being there. The backyard space is also very nice and I appreciated the shade in the 90 degree weather! The exterior is fun and colorful and the interior is a little cramped but cute and overall I just had a great time.
