Best pizza ever - Edit
Seriously the best pizza ever, even my non-vegan friends think so. Tons of different vegan pizzas to choose from and I’ve loved every kind I’ve had. The only downside is that the place is super small and fills up quickly. But the pizza is worth it!

Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza is a Must!!! - Edit
Although the space is not large, it’s just right for a pizza by the slice or carry out. The staff was not the friendliest but the pizza itself was delicious. It’s right next door to Van Leeuwen’s so you can grab a vegan ice cream right after.

Good pizza! - Edit
The pizza is really tasty! And the staff was friendly. But, the music is horrible lol It was SO LOUD too! And I wanted to eat in... The music was just too loud and it was heavy metal which I don’t really enjoy. Other than that, pizza was good!

thought i was being had - Edit
we ordered their margherita & their slice of the day barbecue chicken made with jackfruit. i hate vegan pizza because they use daiya cheese which is gross & makes my stomach hurt. screamer's however has found the real deal. i was worried for a moment that it actually was cheese! the ooey gooey melty-ness & the beautiful pools of grease that appears when you fold the slice in your hands...pure heaven. this is the best vegan pizza i've had. when people tell me they won't go vegan cuz they'll miss pizza too much, i'll send them here!!

This was a great find! Vegan pizza with lots of variety of toppings and vegan proteins. Not Many tables to eat, fills up quickly. The menu has around 20 pre-designed vegan pizzas, calzones, cannoli, drinks and also pre-made slices you can get

Thee Vegan pizza we have been looking for! - Edit
We have been searching for a good vegan pizza since becoming vegan and by George we found it! They use Violife cheese (NOT Diaya!) and it is amazing. My personal fav was the Buffalo but the Cheese, Screamer, and Tofu Scramble and sausage were all amazing!

Yummy Vegan New York City Style Pizza - Edit
I love this place, I would eat regularly here if I lived closer. The pizza here is delicious. Now, I wouldn't say that their dairy-free pizza tastes exactly as how I remember dairy pizza tasting, but it's a fantastic substitute. When I ate here, I got a regular slice and white pizza - so YUMMY!!! I can't wait to go back again. Additionally, may I include that the staff is friendly, the restaurant is decorated pretty nice, and the town surrounding the restaurant is so cool! I do wish they had a larger selection though, when it comes to buying by the slice, they only have about 6 pies to choose from and I know that New York City pizzerias usually have a much larger selection. Also, slices are a bit on the expensive side. Regardless though, I do recommend checking this place out!

Great pizza, not very helpful staff - Edit
We came here specifically to try the pizza before a theatre show. We asked if we had to buy by the slice. There was nothing on the display cabinet to indicate what each pizza was. That would have been helpful. The woman serving just said “yes.” She didn’t do anything remotely helpful and I wished I hadn’t have tipped her. I think she just couldn’t be bothered being there. The pizza was nice but I have no idea which slices we ate!

Fantastic pizza, less than friendly staff - Edit
The pizza here is worth going to Brooklyn alone (though of course it's a great place in itself). It was mind blowingly-good. My omni sister said it was better than the regular pizza slices she got. I got two slices and sadly saw them putting out an artichoke flavour as I left - it looked awesome! I also tried the doughballs which were okay, but nothing mind-blowing
Read moreThe only really disappointing thing was the girl working there - she was actively rude. The only time service was so bad in the city I didn't want to tip. She was just unfriendly and aggressive for no reason, which kind of put down the experience as we travelled for an hour to get there just for the pizza, and it was getting down to my last dollars before I left, so I genuinely had hyped it up a lot in my mind. The pizza at least made it worth it.
Pros: Pizza!, Price
Cons: Staff, Location is not convenient for non-locals

best vegan pizza!! - Edit
On my trip to New York I went directly from the airport to Screamer’s. The buffalo cauliflower was my favorite. My husband really enjoyed the sausage mushroom. We got 4 slices and they were all really good. I’m usually not the biggest fan of vegan cheese, but they really made it work for the pizza.

All vegan pizza! - Edit
We tasted several different slices when we visited, and they were all pretty good. The crust is thin and crispy, their almond ricotta is great. I didn't really like the pepperoni (but I don't like vegan sausage in general, so I might be biased), but I would definitely recommend the "screamer" and their almond ricotta one.

Slightly disappointing - Edit
I heard so many great reviews and had very high expectations, and loved the idea of an all vegan pizza joint. I had a slice of the pepperoni - unfortunately, this is where things went downhill. While the crust and sauce were pretty average, the cheese was about identical to any other vegan cheese I could by at a health foods store and make at home with the same result - the cheese was gloopy and sticks to the roof of your mouth - at least the regular mozzarella. Perhaps the other pizzas that involved more toppings, or the almond ricotta - would have been a better choice. The pepperoni was pretty bland, greasy and peppery, not to my liking.
Read moreI took a couple bites and quickly realized I'm not a fan at all. I walked up to the cashier to see if I could get something else instead, and she said I'd have to pay again, and that the order is not refundable. I personally would have appreciated a little more accommodation, but to each their own. Just putting it out there.
This place is still worth the visit if you're in Brooklyn, but if you come, lower your expectations.
Pros: cheap, all vegan, verity
Cons: average taste, gloopy cheese, customer service

FREAK YEAH ! I SCREAM EVERYTIME I HAVE YOUR PIZZA! - Edit
Just discovered this place about a month ago & had my first vegan slice of pizza ever. I also never liked real pepperonis so thanks for bringing me your own rendition of pepperonis cause now I love em. Lol. Well the vegan kind that is. But you guys are superb. Great music. Great pizza. & the whole pizzeria vibe is just what us vegans needed. Being open so late is just the icing on the cake. Just love it. There's nothing better than a vegan pizza shop next to a ice cream shop with vegan flavors. You guys just set the mood. Thank you.

Dropped in after a dope show in Williamsburg. Got there 10 minutes before closing. Had a pepperoni slice and some garlic knots. Was delightful and the folks were great. Can't wait to try it out when they have a full menu. Za for life!!
