A MUST HAVE - Edit
This pizza is must have! We have heard so many great things about this place and finally was in the neighborhood to try it. We live in Astoria and promised ourselves next time we are in Greenpoint it’s a must for dinner. Screamers lived up to and exceeded expectations. I had the Buffalo Cauliflower and my wife had the Screamer. We will be back to try more pizzas!

the mushroom one was great and so was the buffalo cauliflower, pepperoni one was good, and overall all pretty good slices.
overall good vegan pies and a chill shop/environment.

Really enjoyed the slice. Picked a couple of slices from existing pizzas which is the standard, but probably would have been better had we gotten an entire pie. Not sure vegan cheese reheats as well as non-vegan cheese. Very small shop with just a few tables. We'll go back when in the neighborhood but probably would not go out of our way.

A (literally) small gem - Edit
If you like pizza, Screamer’s is a must if in New York. Especially if you’re from out of town like me, it’s a bit of a novelty to have so much choice on the menu, which is very well thought out with mixes of classic and unique flavours. Even when jam packed service is quick, a true testament to how hard the staff work. It’s not a criticism but yes it is a very small establishment, just 5 tables for 2.

This location is really small and I wouldn't have liked to sit there and eat the pizza, but we took it home and it was great! One was spicy which I didn't like, but the other ones we tried were really good. Would definitely come back!

Whenever I'm in NYC I always make it a point to get some Screamers in my life. We always order a large pie of the SCREAMERS and a large pie of SAUSAGE & MUSHROOM. The SCREAMERS is my #1 I will always get that one. The other flavors are great too. You cant go wrong with what you choose! They also have great Vegan condiments like "nooch" and almond parmesan.
Read moreBoth locations are cool and has it's ups and downs. The one in Greenpoint is super small so if you want to chill and enjoy your pizza you have to deal with people standing there waiting in line to order all whilst looking at you eat and they only have about 6 or 7 seats. Despite the cramped space, and no restroom available, the pizza is, of course, the bomb and if you want to treat your dessert afterwards there is a VAN LEEUWEN ice cream shop literally next door! Everytime I go though they seem to run out of the speacialty vegan flavors (which is a good sign). Parking can be annoying but I usually park right outside and watch my car, I've never had problems.
The Crown Heights location is a few minutes away (by car) and is a much BIGGER space. Many tables and chairs for you to enjoy your pizza. They also have a restroom for your convenience. Parking here is a little more tricky. I park on the corner right outside the place and keep an eye on my car here as well. And thr pizza is delish as hell at this location too!
Both locations not created equal! Be sure to notice that there are different flavors at both locations. So call and ask what they have made before heading over. Or be like me and surprise yourself when going. (They ALWAYS have the Screamers pizza flavor so you never have to worry about that).
Pros: Best pizza ever. They aren't cheap on the toppings and the crust is perfect. Every time I go the consistency of the flavors are on point. Staff is nice also.
Cons: A little pricey. A slice ranges from $3.50-$4.75. (This is why I go ahead and order a large pie, you get more for your $). Afterall, the thought of left over Screamers in your fridge for the next day or two is pure heaven.
