The best Pizza I've ever eaten

We regularly get pizza from here. Have tried a few of the vegan ones, the Truffle Shuffle is the best pizza I have ever eaten! So so good. Never been disappointed. Its a bit more expensive but worth it.

Perfect Neapolitan

Small, and a little tucked away but the bee’s knee’s of Neapolitan pizzas! There is only a smallish selection of pizzas (plus daily specials which it looks like they do 1 vegan, 1 vegetarian and a meat) However that’s okay as the pizza is brilliant. Hand made just across from the seating, the pizzas have a super thin base, moist sauce and delightfully puffy spotted crust. We liked the sweet/spicy/creamy/garlicky dip that we got with our fries (all fine for vegetarian) which had rosemary sprinkled on them. And I chose off their specials menu and got a pizza with sage, butternut squash sauce, toasted pine nuts and spices. I won’t lie, it was a bit too spicy for me but I enjoyed having something different! There is a “sidekicks” menu, and light music also. The waitress told me on inquiry that they use different cutters for both vegetarian and vegan options, this reassured me that they understood and knew what they were doing!
Reasonable price I think as well?
between £10-15 per pizza.

Pros: Really good Neapolitan style pizza , 2 vegan options (probably more on request), Nice service, decor, and atmosphere

Cons: Quite a lot of meat featuring food , Slightly unfortunate location (nowhere special)

Dreamy pizza

Loved my order from Scream for pizza - they’ve been a great presence in vegan markets in Newcastle and have wonderful, unique pizzas. They put a lot of effort into their offer - it never feels token or supplementary.

Pros: Unique vegan offer , Lots of veggies! , Dreamy garlic bread

Best vegan pizza around!

I first visited scream for pizza with my boyfriend and tried the vegan shuffle truffle and since then i’ve been hooked! I’ve visited the restaurant on several other occasions, and had pizza slices at markets they’ve attended and have never been disappointed. I have to say the shuffle truffle is my favourite but the margarita is also delicious! The rosemary chips and the garlic dip are also highlights on the menu and i’m getting hungry just thinking about it!

Pros: Vegan options, Fresh and tasty , Support small local business

Cons: Meat

The best pizza in Newcastle

This quaint little restaurant without doubt sells the best pizza in Newcastle, and they do wonderful vegan options which include both white pizza bases and traditional tomato. The vegan white pizza with mushrooms (the "shuffle truffle") is one of the best pizzas I have ever had, so much that I have ordered it everytime since my first visit.

Screamadelica

When the Scream for Pizza truck parked up outside Newcastle’s finest establishment the Free Trade Inn whilst enjoying a couple of craft beers in the sun it was a moment of magic. We shared a marinara with mushrooms which was absolutely divine. It really was. There were even chunks of garlic on it. Carry on Screaming

Pros: Cool guys , Cool truck , Fantastic setting

The best pizza ever

The restaurant has a few vegan options and they're all delicious. The Scream team are always happy to veganise options on the van menu when they're out and about too. They are totally dedicated to producing the best quality pizza.

Pros: Amazing quality

Limited but awesome

I’ve been to screams van a few times on a Wednesday night while doing the quiz in a nearby pub.
It’s limited but that’s doesn’t matter because what they have is fantastic pizza, what a base. Always had the marinara and scant recommend enough.

Pros: Staff, Feminism , Great value

Do the shuffle truffle...

Fantastic pizza awaits you when you visit the scream team. We visited recently whilst at the flower power vegan festival at tynebank brewery and ordered the shuffle truffle pizza, which was black truffle cream sauce, smoked vegan cheese, mushrooms, garlic oil and basil. It was absolutely delicious and I'm still drooling over it now. Staff are great and I'll definitely be visiting again.

Pros: Sensational pizza, Friendly staff, Inexpensive
