Cheap, fresh vegetarian food - a rarity in Zurich - Edit
It's a take-away place at the main trainstation of Zurich - small but very central. Unlike this page indicates, the food is completely vegetarian and there are some vegan dishes available. There are salads, sandwiches, soups, etc.
Read moreThe name Schnägg means snail in Swissgerman and is used in Zürich-accent to describe the round form of a 5-swiss-francs-coin, so obviously many things cost only 5 francs - an incredibly good price for Zurich! The food is very tasty and the staff is nice. It's not easy to find cheap, fresh and vegetarian (let alone vegan) fastfood in Zurich. Therefore i love Schnägg!
Pros: Vegetarian and Vegan dishes, Very inexpensive, Fresh and varied fastfood
Cons: Small store - no tables, Not too many vegan dishes
