Bland food, fantastic venue - Edit
This place is worth a visit, just to see the place. A 500 year old restaurant is not an everyday experience. Two starters, two mains(a lentil pattie with turnip mash or "beet wellington) and two deserts, made very much in a 1970s way if food philosophy. But, to me, that a restaurant this traditional has vegan options, is amazing.

Delicious vegan options - Edit
I haven’t been to Lübeck in a very long time and now coming to visit eating vegan I wasn’t sure how it would go. I was so pleasantly surprised to find a Lübeck historical institution like the Schiffergesellschaft having many vegan options. We had all three vegan main items: a salad, curry pumpkin soup and roasted Brussels sprouts with creamy mushroom sauce and potatoes. All were delicious. They also had vegan orange sorbet and marzipan ice cream which we hoped to have but were too full. They were very accommodating to my nut allergy. A truly special experience.

Kleines aber sehr feines veganes Angebot mit exzellentem Service in wunderbaren über 600 Jahre alten Räumen. Auch für Nicht-Veganer:innen geeignet und für größere Gruppen. Preise sind der Location entsprechend aber immer noch angemessen.

Tolle Atmosphäre, super lecker! - Edit
Die Atmosphäre ist einfach einmalig. Der Service ist sehr nett und es gibt zwei komplett vegane Gerichte. Toll, wenn man Besuch bekommt, der nicht vegan ist und man schön Essen gehen möchte.

Good vegan place - Edit
Nice place with beautiful interior and good vegan options, that was not the standard options. The food was every tasty and there was starter, main course and dessert options for vegans. The price wasn’t too expensive for how nice the place was.

If you are in a group... - Edit
One of the few places we found in Lubeck which can a) accomodate a large group b) make people happy who don't want to eat vegan food and c) labels and offers vegan dishes. The vegan salad was okay, but definitely not good for the price asked (15 EUR - cheap compared to the non-vegan dishes though!).
