tasty salads - Edit
Delicious vegan salads, food marked as vegan, even cakes. Non-veg friend's food took forever to come out, but she enjoyed it.

Tasty and organic - Edit
Though not exclusively vegetarian, the menu offers a variety of vegetarian dishes prepared with organic ingredients. I had tofu and steamed vegetables in shoyu-sauce with rice and it was delicious! Everything was served quickly and the staff were very friendly.

This restaurant is in a great area of the city described as "a touch gritty" and "alternative". It is no where near the tourist area (which I prefer) and there is great shopping. If you are from Toronto think "Queen West". Anyway, the food was very good and had a home cooking comfort feel. The restaurant was very quaint inside. It is attached to a hostel that also seemed quite nice. The menu was in German but the server was very helpful. There is a mix of meat and vegetarian options and the kitchen made my dish vegan. Highly recommend that you eat here.
