Variety of raw vegan cheeses - Edit

Lovely couple creating their own raw vegan cheeses. The cheeses are very beautiful, cultured and aged, and with different varieties.

Pros: Creative , wide variety

pure gourmet. - Edit

i could write loads and loads of positivity about this wonderful raw cheez bar, but i think it's enough to say, that everything is made out of organic ingredients, whole foods, made with love, so much energy and compassion. i almost tried everything from the menu and it is really tastebud heaven. everything feels soo wonderful to chew, a pleasure to eat.
the staff, Mercédesz and Roland are the two most increadible human beings i've ever met, they are my real pshyhologists...:)
i love to hang out there, my pleasure to spend time there.
hard work and tons of positive energy is in that little space, highly reccomend it to anybody with all kinds of diets.
insane. xx, Liza:)

Pros: organic ingrediets, wonderful staff, increadible vibe

The best cheese in the world! - Edit

This is the restaurant where I eat pretty often. The owners are amazing, they make the best cheese in the world! Each cheese has an extraordinarily delicious character, they are really delicious! My favorite is sun-dried tomato cheese🤤 They also offer desserts, for example tasty pies, cinnamon rolls and these are the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had!✨

Pros: Excellent raw foods, Friendly staff, Cosy atmosphere

Cons: Nothing

No words. - Edit

My fiancé and I've tried literally EVERYTHING on the menu and been to the restaurant like 15 times (seriously!) so if this is not enough to write an authentic, representative review, nothing is.

FOOD: A real gourmet experience. You'll have to taste them to believe, words are useless here, that's how BOMB their cheezes, pizza, sandwich and sweets taste like. I mean the cheezes are TERRIFYINGLY great, nothing I've ever tried before but I've been to many raw vegan restaurants before. My all-time favorites are the club focaccia sandwich (loaded with organic veggies and chives cream cheez), chives soft, provance, garlic-sage, sundried tomato cheezes, for sweets cinnamon roll and the cheesecake but I don't even know why I'm detailing because everything is a unique and true masterpiece. I recommend choosing a cheez plate or quarters to have a taste of as much varieties as possible and a lemonade or a green smoothie to refresh your tastebuds after the explosion! :)

STAFF, INGREDIENTS: Mercedesz & Roland are the two all-time smiling, beautiful raw vegan souls in the kitchen, crafting their divine foods in front of you. What I don't like in most of the other restaurants is that they always try to cut down on expenses by selecting low quality ingredients, but Say Cheez is SUPER conscientious. I've seen with my own eyes, they use the literal BEST quality all organic ingredients, which are even better than what I'd buy for myself preparing food at home. No MSG, no nutritional yeast, no "spices", no gluten or agar-agar, NO CONDIMENTS at all, they craft their cheezes using cashews and herbs, they ferment them and that's all. Their "bread" and crackers are soft and low fat, not hard and oily like in almost every raw vegan restaurant.

ATMOSPHERE: Homey. Small place that can host 6 people, you can take away the food in completely bio-degradable package to eat in a park but I'd recommend to stay and get to know these two lovely persons, their little gem has the best vibrations in the town I say.

PRICING: If they were more expensive, I'd still eat here every single week. That being said, knowing that everything is organic and how much love, effort, creativity and energy is in the food I eat, I think the prices are very decent, especially compared to other places in Europe.

No matter if you are raw, cooked, vegetarian or an omnivore, you'll be still amazed by this gourmet experience.

Pros: Divine gourmet raw food, Lovely staff, Conscientous business policy

Cons: People still eat "real" cheese yet this is better

sadly not what I had been expecting - Edit

Well... overall it was a disappointment... we tried 7 types of cheeses and they all tasted very similar. The chips were plane... we hoped the cinnamon roll would save the place but sadly no... gooey and wet... Friendly staff but that's about the only positive aspect of this place.

Pros: organic good quality

Cons: taste, price, no AC

friendly and tasty - Edit

Bought a quarter of 4 different cheeses and also one of their creamy cheeses. Really delicious and unlike anything else I've seen in the city. Regarding another review saying it's expensive - yes, it's a little pricey but the quality is good and making cheeses using cashews is always going to push the price up.
My two little girls had the daily smoothie (which also contained spinach so I was dubious as to whether they drink it!) but they loved it!
Definitely going back

Pros: wide choice of flavored cheese, friendly service, tasty

Cons: place is a little small for eating in

this place is a unique life experience - Edit

first of all, I am not keen on healthy or raw diet.

I have to tell you that this place is glowing, the owners are sweet and kind! And the nut cheez is: OH my!

They make some raw-taco which is also some kind of an example of perfection.

The green smoothie they make is nothing like any other, anywhere else.

Raw apple pie, and the energy balls and the cinnamon rolls are crazy!

I'm absolutely in love with the aromas they create there. My taste buds are bagging to go back. Every single ingredient is organic and raw. This is how the food is somehow simple but at the same time maximising the complexity of what nature built in.

delicious but expensive - Edit

Reaaaally tasty and delicious, but also really expensive unfortunately.
I have the cheese plate, it was very tasty, but I was still very hungry after that, and for that price, it was a bit over the top, I think.
The staff is really lovely, though!

Mostly cheese and small meals - Edit

Nice place to get some appetizers to go and sit in the park, or to get some cheese home. However, if you need more for like a lunch maybe it's not the best. I really hope they'll include bigger and cheaper meals in the future.

Pros: All vegan and I really nice park next to it.

Cons: A bit expensive and not for hungry people

beautiful place - Edit

Was here for the first time today! Really very nice owners and service, very private Ambiente! Must come here.
The cheez really is amazing!!! Also all the rest! And: you feel the good vibes behind everything!
Everything is very clean and very fresh produce! There is a big blender, a juicer, a dehydrator and even a waterfiltersystem fort the smoothies etc , everything is organic. So what else do you need!
The funny thing is: in the morning I was on the Budapest biomarket , and I saw a guy who was buying lots of green stuff etc there. And I thought: for sure he has a vegan restaurant somewhere here. Haha and voila in the evening I met him coincidentally in his restaurant and he made my cheez and the raw vegan sandwich:) I will come again!

Say Cheez - Edit

This little place is easy to reach, as a 5 min walk from M4 station - "Móricz Zsigmond Tér"
They have 2 tables only, but neerby is a park with a beautiful lake to enjoy your meal in nature or 10 min to Gellért hill.
It is owner operated and they really take care of you starting with a beautiful heartful smile.
Their sandvich and tortilla are worth the visit. What you notice immediately is the taste which is phenomenal.
My favorites to take Home are the egg-cream, Apple pie and the cheese with Provence flavor. Even Cooked meal does not taste as good as their marvels.
If you eat Raw or Vegan, visiting Budapest this place is a must try.
Enjoy🍀
