Great for Vegan and animal protein Folks

Found this restaurant on HappyCow during a layover here in Wilmington, North Carolina. Excellent food, very creative and several options for vegans. The empanada, and the tostada were both great! Nice margaritas to be had here as well! Definitely recommend.

Savory Savorez

I love Savorez. They have great vegan dishes and they’re reasonably priced. They have vegan desserts that I’ve heard are delicious. Great staple in Wilmington!

Worth the wait

It’s a small place and doesn’t take reservations, and we waited an hour on a Wednesday. The food was SO good and definitely worth it. I had the vegan relleno and a vegan empanada. So flavorful! Loved every bite.

Pros: Several vegan options, Very flavorful

Cons: Small place, not much seating

So glad went for dinner

So glad we went here for dinner. The quinoa stuffed chili rejeno is the best as others have noted. Wonderful combination of flavors.

I got the vegan rellenos and vegeta comida and it was one of the best plant based meals I’ve had in a long long time. Highly recommend!

Great option

In Wilmington on a Monday with every other vegan option closed, this place is a winner!! Good amount of options and everything was delicious, exterior will throw you off but staff is great and place is so charming 🤎

Best vegan options in Wilmington!

Does cute little restaurants sits on a corner with parking behind. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, amazing vegan options.

Best Meal In Years

Am incredibly grateful that I made it here; almost didn't... The staff was so friendly and vegan-knowledgeable; environment casual, cultural, comfortable; but the food... Had the "Vegan Rellenos" for dinner and "Coconut Panna Cotta" for dessert... Phenomenal; seriously the best meal I've had in years... Can't give five stars to a non-veg(etari)an place -- sorry -- but I'd give it six stars based on my vegan experience

Wish I could give 5 stars!

I got the vegan relleno and it was lovely! Good portion size, i subbed the coconut rice for the sweet potato puree and that was a good choice.

Pros: Vegan app and entree option, Wheelchair accessible restaurant, Friendly staff!

Cons: Long wait if you don’t make a reservation

Fresh and vibrant food

I love their salad. They literally have one salad on the menu but it is phenomenal.

Hidden Gem for Vegans

Great mix of flavors, friendly service and a variety of vegan options. Went with a omnivore friend had the salsa sampler with chips and the Vegan Relleno. The flavors were amazing! Great experience overall all would definitely go back.

A local gem - friendly staff, tasty food

A delicious vegan meal for me and meat/fish options for others in family

Pros: Incredibly friendly staff, Margaritas!, Close to hotels in historic waterfront district

Cons: Sadly no vegan desert available, such a shame

I might be bias

So I went here twice with groups of people. First time it was good, the prices are good when you look at the menu but the portion sizes are small too so I think it actually may be a little pricy for what you get. Does the food taste good? Yes. But when you order vegan tacos you get 2 so keep that in mind. The second time I went, my food was frozen in the center so that tells me as a cook, it’s not fresh. The servers are always pretty nice but the place is really lax’ like even with one table in the restaurant they might be in the back talking to the cooks. The food isn’t bad but overall I’d just spend the money somewhere else.

Hidden treasure!

I can't say how I great I thought this place was. I had the vegeta comida and it was delicious--coconut rice, black beans, fresh sliced avocado, salsa fresca, pickled cabbage, plaintains and corn tortillas. My husband, a meat eater, had chicken tacos. Both meals were wonderfully flavorful.

Pros: Vegan, vegetarian and regular options, awesome drink menu, great service

Lots of vegan options

This is a great small, local restaurant featuring Latin inspired cuisine. There are quite a few vegan options on the menu - the Vegeta Comida plate is terrific, as are the vegan Sweet Potato and Black Bean Empanadas.

Pros: Fresh, filling vegan options, Plenty of choices, Great atmosphere

Cons: Very small - can be tough to get a seat
