Awesome vegan spot in SF - Edit
One of my all time favorite restaurants, I have taken many friends (non-vegan) here and they have all loved it. I also has my bday dinner here one year so good for groups (4-8). The owner is wonderful and he is incredibly dedicated to offering fresh, innovative dishes.
Read moreSuper easy to get to (next to the N Judah) and near cool local bars.

LOVE this place - Edit
I have been here for dinner and lunch, and as I write this, I stopped in for a cortado (coffee) and some sweets. The food is fantastic, and the owner/chef Moe, is very accommodating to vegans (it is a vegetarian/vegan cafe). Casual and cozy, but also great for special occasions.
Read moreI LOVE the fattoush salad, the King Trumpet burger, the Shwawarmas, the Wild Mushroom Knaffe, the Mujadara, and everything I have tried so far. The desserts are great, too!

You must try the potato sage torte - Edit
The potato sage torte is incredible. So flavorful. You have to try it. Trust me. The marinated tofu on baba ghanoush (with caramelized onions) is also incredible. Why isn't this restaurant more well known? I can't wait to try more of their dishes. I really enjoyed the free okra soup they provided as well.

Modern Arabic Cuisine - Edit
Savor Cafe has specular vegan food. And the owner is so warm and gracious. We love all their food and always get pastries to go. Their almond croissants have a creamy filling and the Dubai chocolate bars are to-die-for. This place is a must-visit in San Francisco.

Best culinary experience I've had in a long time - Edit
It's like a chef restaurant. Dishes are small (although still sizeable) and meant to be shared. Expect to be ordering about 2 per person, so the price can be quite high. However, it's more than worth it, some of the best food I've ever had. I especially recommend the knafe.

Such a gem - Edit
Delicious food and comfortable, friendly service. The dishes are either traditionally vegan, or thoughtful reworkings of meat dishes- no “just throw a falafel on it” here. (Don’t get me wrong, I love falafel, but I also love variety!) Everything can be made vegan, and the vegetarian options just have dairy cheese- really this is a vegan restaurant with vegetarian options rather than the other way around. Love it and will come back often!

Reliably incredibly good food - Edit
Everything I've had here has been phenomenal, the prices are reasonable, and the service is exceptional.

Most of the menu is vegan, including desserts which is rare! Just watch out for honey, sometimes it's in items he marks as vegan.

A hidden gem - Edit
I’ve been going to Savor for lunch and dinner for the past 2 years. It’s an awesome vegetarian restaurant that serves almost all vegan dishes (they’re clearly marked). The food is consistently good, the vibe is chill and the chef is kind (he will not hesitate to offer recommendations if you can’t decide)! My current favorites on the dinner tapas menu are the Mashi and Fennel Baklava. Bring a friend or 2, so you can try a few things! You won’t regret it

Amazing and special middle eastern food - Edit
The waiter (I believe also owner) is from Yemen. Really interesting and unique middle eastern dishes. Just when one thinks they’ve tried all the middle eastern food there is, this place is here to introduce you to some new ones!
Read moreThe vegan items make up the majority of the menu and are clearly marked. In fact, on the night we were there (a Friday) they said everything that night was plant-based, including the desserts. Highly recommend!!

Do me a Savor! - Edit
Savor is delightful with a unique and creative style of Mediterranean cuisine. Almost completely vegan menu but the chef can make it vegan upon request. Everything is fresh and authentic and full of flavor to savor. It's a fairly small space but it's quaint and cozy so perfect for date night or a first date and maybe you'll get lucky. Highly recommend giving it a try and I am confident you'll be satisfied.

Homemade Vegan Mayos - Edit
Lovely little cafe with some amazing homemade vegan dishes. I came here to order takeout and it was great.
Read moreAll the entrees include a side salad or soup of the day. I tried their Portobello Shawarma and the Pulled king Trumpet Burger, which came in two making it easy to share or save one half for later.
The shawarma wrap was loaded with veggies and a tasty tahini dressing. Although it ended up falling apart due to how wet the ingredients were, so I'd probably skip on this in the future. The vegan trumpet burger though was fantastic. I loved the house bbq sauce and the use of mushrooms was perfect.
The two soups we had included were delicious as well. Their vegan cauliflower curry soup was the standout for sure.
Definitely a great lunch and a spot I'd return again in the future.

The best ever - Edit
I never write reviews, but this restaurant was amazing. We came for lunch. This was the best bite of our trip. We started with the savor platter. The hummus was the best we have ever had (which is saying something), and the pita came out hot and fluffy from the oven. We each had a shawarma wrap. The cauliflower soup was great. We took two desserts to go - the cherry chocolate bread pudding was ridiculously tasty. The owner also served us, which added such an authentic element to the experience

Brilliant food plus baklava! - Edit
Had a very good dinner at Savor SF. It’s at a quiet street near GG park. The platter as well as the tofu was good. And there is a savory baklava in addition to the sweet version. All plant based menu baring 1-2 items which might contain dairy. Would highly recommend this place…

My new favorite vegan spot in the Bay - Edit
This place met all my expectations, which were high after browsing their beautiful Instagram feed. We had a vegan croissant, stuffed baby beets, cauliflower-lavender soup, hodo tofu sougar, and the wild mushroom knaffe. Afterwards, we wished for our stomachs to grow so we could order more food. Everything was interestingly spiced, beautifully presented and delicious. Bonus points for feeling like you're in someone's warm home and getting to experience the flavors they grew up with. This is a must go!!

Chef and owner really knows how to lay a table filled with delicious food. I've been here for lunch and for dinner. There are some tables outside if the weather is nice. At dinner it's best to make a reservation.
