Great vegan-friendly buffet

The setting is really nice and there's a calm atmosphere. I went there for dinner on a week night. Most of the options at the cold buffet were vegan, and were clearly indicated as being so. As for the hot dishes, ingredients were listed. It's tasty and healthy, I liked everything I had.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Inexpensive

Good value for money with plenty of vegan choices

This place near the city center of Toulouse is very interesting for vegetarians and vegans. It offers seasonal, organic and excellent food with plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. The buffet is quite always vegetarian and mainly vegan. If you have a doubt, don't hesitate to ask the waiters to call the cooker to know what is clearly vegan (they perfectly know what veganism is). The hot and cold buffet is really affordable in comparison to food quality and the portion you can have (a big plate or two small ones). They also have a buffet for desserts, plenty of them being vegan. Beside the buffet, they offer a 2 or 3-course meal but they are not very veg-friendly. They also have organic wines.

The place is pleasant, there is room and the location is convenient. To sum up: a good place to go with hungry vegans!

Pros: vegan options including desserts, good food, affordable buffet, entirely organic, friendly-helpful staff

Cons: 3-course meal not very veg-friendly

Favourite place in Toulouse

I have been to Toulouse three times this year and went to Saveurs Bio at least once during each stay. They have a great mostly vegetarian buffet with a lot of vegan options too. In addition you have a lot of choices to order from the menue which made my non-vegetarian collegue happy. In fact he liked the food there so much that for our next business trip there was no convincing necessary to eat at Saveurs Bio again. This time he also tried the buffet and was quite happy with it. The (hearty) salad variety is quite large and is accompanied by four warm options. The culinary interested will find something new each time (last time I was surprised by the "ancient tomato salad"). There are also soups and a desert buffet. The price for food and drinks is very reasonable.

Pros: lots of vegan options, excellent food, good value

Cons: Service a bit slow, bring time

Not as good as it looks

Though more sophisticated in appearance, with lots of room, nicely spaced tables and a calm atmosphere, we found this place a lot less appealing than the lively, colourful and much more user friendly La Faim des Haricots, Toulouse's other main veggy place. For one thing there was much less choice - two hot dishes and fewer salad options. We were asked to decide at the outset whether we wanted to have a sweet and coffee (also what size coffee), and pay in advance. But by the time we came to select our sweets there was hardly anything left - just scraps of two or three unappealing dishes we wouldn't have chosen had we not already paid. Later the sweet section was replenished, but too late for us - especially as they have a rather too attentively enforced 'no seconds' policy. There was also a reminder that sweets were for the individual they were bought for, presumably to stop you paying for one and sharing between two. One other down was the bread, which was plentiful but dry, as if cut too soon. On the plus side, there was a wide of range of condiments to put on your salads, which were tasty and seemed to be vegan friendly. Some veggies might also like the fact that it seems to be more vegan friendly than the other place.

Pros: Decor, vegan friendly, space

Cons: Choosing and paying up front, Limited choice, Bit school dinner like
