Comforting comfort food in a comfortable environment - Edit
I have eaten very well in Bali, mostly local cuisine and simple healthy meals rather than western style food. By choice, mind you. However, since this was the only fully vegan joint in the immediate vicinity of my hotel, I thought I had better check it out and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Saucetree Burger with cauliflower wings and it was definitely worth the trip. Also, FYI they have vegan sorbet and gelato, which I didn’t realize until after I’d ordered a mango slushy (also great), so might have to return to give that a go.

100% vegan with a nice choice of fast food type appetisers, mains and desserts. Food was prepared fresh and quickly. Large portions great choice of smoothies, iced coffees/teas, slushes and a beer. Lovely desserts. I personally tried the cauliflower wings, the shroom burger, fish fingers & fries and the Mexican Brorito also the corn ribs. Tried the lemon cake which was served with vanilla ice cream. Did several visits there as it was close to my hotel. Recommend it if you are in Kuta.

It's always great to find a fully vegan place with friendly staff. We found it a bit overpriced, but the food is as good as it can be, tasty and addictive burgers.

My wife and I visited twice in the few days we had in the city. Once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times were amazing! For dinner I had the double cheeseburger and it was what you wanted from a double cheeseburger. A bit greasy, but not soggy, loaded with crisp onions, cheese and great patties. It came with a side of fries and they were salted correctly and very tasty.

For lunch I had the pasta, they asked if I wanted it spicy and please do note: a bit spicy for European standards is very different from Indonesian standards. Still loved it though and they offered me cold water when my face turned redder and redder. Very kind of them.
For dessert I once had chocolate ice cream and the other time the lemon cake. The lemon cake was the better of the two, so go for that one!

Sauce Tree has such good vegan comfort food. Everything I tried was delicious, but my favorites were the Sauce Tree Burger, the Cauli Wings, the Loaded Fries, and the Choco Peanut Butter smoothie. Definitely a spot I’d come back to whenever I’m in Kuta.

We stumbled across this place and the food and service was fantastic. We (me vegan and husband omni) had the shroom burger with fries, balifornia wrap with crispy cauliflower and magenta lemonade. We were too full to try the sorbet or gelato but they had so many vegan ones to try. We were both surprised that the food actually looked like the food in the menu - which doesn’t really happen much in today’s world. Would go again!

I had the "nemo" burger in a wrap not a bun (I'm anaphylactic to sesame seed...). It was really tasty, albeit the sauce was a bit runny. It probably would have been fine in the bun though. I also had sweet potato chips with a BBQ sauce on the side which were amazing!

Every time I'm in Bali, I dine at Sauce Tree several times! There is so much to choose from and everything I've tried has been delicious! Today I had the Colonel Burger followed by hazelnut gelato and they were both divine!
