No love for vegans

I love Italian food but can’t agree with either of the previous reviews. This is my second visit and it was hugely disappointing.

The bruschetta was burnt, the veganised mushroom pasta watery and gritty. The only dessert option is STILL sorbet. Why not affogato with some soya (Swedish Glace) instead of dairy ice cream?

I feel the restaurant treats vegans with disdain; instead they could embrace some filling and delicious cucina povera dishes that require no meat or dairy.

I doubt the owners will lose any sleep, but I won’t be returning.

Pros: The wine is good, My non-vegan friend enjoyed her food

Cons: Lack of choice, Bland vegan options , Poor ventilation

Authentic, delicious

Delicious food with several options for veggies and vegans, clearly indicated on the menu. I have been many times and was never disappointed. Had the vegan puttanesca, and most recently, the green lumache (although the vegan option substitutes lumache with casarecche). Waiters are efficient and friendly. The place is spacious and tastefully decorated. We hope they have more vegan options and specials in the future - some proper vegan desserts would be great for instance!
Prices are really reasonable. Highly recommend. #Veganuary
