Vegan-friendly
Non-fenced lodge in Tsavo National Park. Many animals come and go across the lodge's territory. Lodge is not vegan, but can accommodate vegans. Focus on environmental sustainability. Specify vegan when booking.

Amazing place to stay - Edit
This lodge facility at Tsavo East is a very amazing stay. The fenceless camp near a waterhole will take your breath away, you will see all kinds of animals frequenting and you will be so close to them! The tents are very comfortable, with great showers, a comfortable bed and a porch to relax on. The food served three times a day was absolutely delicious. We told them we were vegan in advance and part of the buffet was always made vegan. Lots of delicious Kenyan food, many fresh fruits and excellent service. This is definitely an amazing place to stay as a vegan.

A wonderful lodge in Tsavo East National park - Edit
This unfenced lodge offers an unforgettable experience of connecting to the wilderness of Kenya. You are surrounded with only peace, sounds of various birds, hippos and many others, creatures roaming freely and minding their own business. It was incredible.

The best place to stay in Tsavo - Edit
This lodge is not fenced at all so the animals were just freely coming and going the whole day everyday (impalas, monkeys, hartebeests, zebra, guineafowls and many more). It was probably one of the best lodges I've ever stayed - imagine seeing those wild animals from your tent, on the way to the restaurant, and while you eat!😄
Read moreThe staff and chefs knew exactly what vegan food was (the head chef was even trained by a vegan chef!) and the food was delicious!! It's usually just a buffet and the staff always come to tell you which one is vegan. They also serve you separate food depending on what's available at the buffet - they always make sure you're not leaving the table hungry😉It was also impressive that they had soy milk available for our vegan table every morning!
The lodge is also very careful with their plastic and energy usage so it was good to know we are causing minimal harm to where the animals reside.
We were a group of 5 vegans and every single one of us was very happy with the food and the lodge. I will definitely come back!
