Smoky... - Edit
Have been there quite a few times but stopped going as it gets smoky (yack!).
The previous owner (Melinda) is super lovely and accommodating for vegans and vegetarians, but as she is no longer living in Japan, I am not finding a reason to revisit.
It all depends on who is in charge of the restaurant now, but food is good in general.
Pros: Location
Cons: Smoking , Not much Veg selection

Friendly staff - Edit
The vegetarian options are a bit limited, but the staff is very accomodating. We went for the lunch and found a mostly non-veg buffet, but the staff made some vegetarian entrees for us at no extra cost. The (occassional) live shows with accordian music and dancing could be a plus or minus, depending on if you are into it!
Pros: Unique food (for Nagoya), Accomodating staff
Cons: Not a lot of vegetarian options, Vegetarian only in the evenings
