Great view and delicious food

Although the restaurant is not vegetarian or vegan, it is very vegan friendly, all organic and with a lot of vegan options. If a dish is not vegan they try their best to veganize it, just let them know you are vegan. We had four dishes and they where all great. The salad was a bit little, but the quality was great, was almost a herbal salad. And last but not least, the volcano view is exceptional!

Pros: Organic food, Many vegan options, Great volcano view

Cons: Serve also meat, Street next to it

Serene beauty

Nestled in a yoga community surrounded by calming rice fields. Food was good too. It was good to be away from the hustle bustle of Ubud.

no vegan items listed

No vegan items even on the menu. Very difficult to find. Only highlight was that there was a cat there.

Nice but too expensive for what you get

Nice location, good food but the portions are too small and it's quite expensive for what you get.

Expensive and very so-so

From all our ratings while in Bali, this was the most expensive and a very so-so experience. The food was okay, however the quality-price ratio wasn't that good. The view to the rice fields was lovely though.

Cons: Expensive, Food was very so-so, Difficult to find

Amazing location, Average food

My boyfriend and I rode here by scooter to have lunch and had a really pleasant time. The location is amazing and the food was pretty good, but not great. You could go to enjoy the surroundings alone and the concept of the restaurant (organic, from their own farm etc) is pretty special, there was just something missing taste wise! They do however make their own wine and fresh fruit cocktails which went down a treat!

Beautiful Locations

I would recommend you to go more for the experience rather than the food. The food overall was ok but beautiful location.

Pros: Beautiful scenery , Friendly staff

Cons: Food was ok

nice food and location but small portion

I've been coming to bali for several years and have been a regular patron of this place since the beginning-the location and setting is ideal in the middle of the rice fields and whilst the food is always good(also awesome juices/drinks) the prices have gone up quite a lot but the portions have got smaller.Definitely worth trying if in ubud if not just to get out of the traffic and chaos of Ubud township. Also Nila the owner/chef is a lovely woman and is committed to environmental/social causes so good business to support.Much of the produce is grown organically on their farm just opposite so produce is always fresh and alive.

Amazing location, disappointing food and service

The awesom location in the rice fields must be pretty much the only reason why this place is so popular and why it can get away with bland food and uninspired staff. Not impressed :-(

Pros: Location, Location, Location

Cons: Staff with attitude, Very mediocre food

Amazing organic food, at a farm among rice paddies

5 stars, I don't care what happycow says (non-vegetarian restaurants limited to 4 stars).

Probably my favorite of the places I've eaten in Bali. Amazing location overlooking rice paddies, in a beautiful area to hike around. It's far enough from town to be quiet. Great red rice, the nasi campur (Bali dish composed of a set of small items) included a great tempeh manis, which is tied with Warung Sopa for the best tempeh I've ever had.

One downside for sensitive vegetarians is that it does overlook part of the farm. Among the rice paddies, we could see chickens and ducks, mostly free, but a few were in cages. A handler fed them and pet them (tenderly FWIW), but most likely they were on their way to being eaten. On the one hand, this is how I believe meat farming should happen -- in the open air, free roaming animals, transparent and open to visitors.

Pro-tip: arrive early. We sat down at 10:30 for lunch, and it was nearly empty. As we were leaving it became more crowded and service was slower.

Pros: beautiful view, fresh organic food

Just go!

It's an awesome place with fresh food - makes an excellent stop-off at the end of the ricefield walk in Ubud. The views of the surrounding ricefields are worth a visit alone! Highly recommended!

Pros: Fresh, Excellent location

Cons: have to walk 10mins to get there
