Reliable option for good South Indian food - Edit
It's always great to find a Saravanaa Bhavan near the train station of a city for a quick bite. It's pretty good food, with so many options, and it's relatively affordable (although portion sizes can be on the smaller side). This time, we tried a vegetable uthappam for the first time and it was very good!

We ordered several dishes. One was very spicy, but overall, the food was delicious and quite unique. The staff was friendly, and ordering through the app was convenient. However, the menu with lots of pictures was overwhelming, and it wasn't always clear what was vegan. The staff should explicitly confirm vegan preferences to avoid any potential mix-ups.

Food was lovely. Menu was a bit overwhelming and didn't like the qr code scanning as made menu even harder to navigate. Ended up needing a physical menu. Vegan options shown in physical menu but not on the qr code menu. Most of it is vegan.

We tried going to a vegan place down the street but we didn’t have a reservation so they wouldn’t take us. We came here instead and roughly half of the menu was vegan. They didn’t have an English menu and there weren’t a whole lot of pictures so we translated a few words on our phones here and there and eventually just pointed at things that had a vegan (V) next to them. Lots of flavor, and filling portions. Lots of spice.

Went to this place when I needed a change from all the Italian food I had been eating and was pleasantly surprised. The menu is many pages long, a lot of the items on the menu are vegan and almost all of those who aren’t can be made vegan. Loved it so much I ended up going there again and wish I had had the time to go there many more times. Tried the Rasam soup, Vegetable spring rolls, Vegetable noodles and the Channa masala. Every single thing I tried tasted amazing. Cozy place and great service. Best Indian food I have ever tried - only wish they had a restaurant in my country.

Great option if you want something else than pizza and pasta for a day in Rome! Started with a delicious soup and fried mushrooms. After that I had a tasty curry with roti. The food is spicy, but exactly the right amount! Many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Make sure to mention the Vegan option for your dish!

Read moreJust be careful when you pay. My bill was €23.50. As I walked away I got an email from cc company letting my know that the charge was 35.67. I walked back to the restaurant to correct their mistake. He show me the receipt that he had which was €32.50. He apologized. I asked for €9 back in cash. Now this incident had never happened to me before. Honest mistake, the benefit of the doubt. Luckily my cc always send me a notification a few seconds after a charge. In my opinion, he intended to cheat!!! Beware!!!

Me & my partner loved the food here so much we went there twice. We had the same food on both visits which was a mixture of their curries, plain rice & some chapatis.
