Great tasting soba! - Edit
We eat a lot of soba and this is one of the best we've tried.
Read moreIt's difficult to find a soba restaurant that has a vegan broth, but this restaurant it only offers that, but has a dedicated vegan page on their menu!
We tried the curry soba which is quite an interesting mix of flavors that I'd never tasted before. The regular soba has a very nice tasting broth as well!
EDIT: looks like the tempura is or can be made vegan upon request easily (which wasn’t the case before). Do ask though as it’s not guaranteed vegan.

The soba noodles were really good and they were put in the forefront. The broth was tasteful. There are very few options to choose from, but what is there is good.

Like the first review, it's unfortunate that I can only give four stars for this meal, for it was definitely more than five stars. I've had a lot of soba noodles in Japan, but this meal was more delicious than many of the places that I've tried. A bit on the steep side as far as price goes but definitely worth the money. Highly highly highly highly recommended. Their portions are quite small, so if you are used to having us size meals, the regular soba portion might be a little too small for you. Might want to consider getting extra noodles.

BEST SOBA EVER - Edit
Absolutely delicious. Would rate 5 stars if I could, only HappyCow only allows 4 for non-vegan restaurants. Very decent vegan options including appetizers and entrees—I ordered vegetable tempura, cold tofu (pudding-like!), and their regular soba noodles. All were exquisite!!!!!
