I only had one lunch in Bucharest and I chose to come to Sara Green. I didn't know what to order so I got the amazing veggie wrap which the menu stated was the all time best seller. I also ordered an expresso
Read moreThe wrap was okay. The lentil balls didn't have a lot of flavour and were a bit soggy, I could only feel the taste of the pickles which was very overpowering
Also, the expresso was served cold 😢The lady brought a chocolate chip cookie to my table while I ate which was super sweet.
Over all an okay experience, give the rest of the menu a try. The deserts looked amazing

I enjoyed the food here but I did always end up ordering my 4th or 5th choice. It's a nice place and they have nice tea and lemonade selection.

Nice people with good English. A few tables inside and a small terrace. I had the Buddha Bowl and the mint lemonade. All for 8 euros. It was very tasty!

I had lunch today at Sara Green, a deli style vegan place that seems to be a hit for deliveries, lots of takeaway was leaning the building while I visited! There is quite a big menu with burgers, wraps and hot food, but it was 31°C and I needed cooling down so it was a refreshing and nutritious cold option for me — a tofu Buddha bowl and mixed fruit smoothie. Perfect for a hot day.

This was just what I needed on a cold, wet day! The staff are so helpful and speak perfect English, so don't be afraid to ask about the menu, which is all in Romanian. There were three burgers on the menu. Happy Cow uses a beetroot and chickpea burger, and Smiley Pog and Cheeseburger use a mushroom, bean, and walnut burger. I went for the Cheeseburger and it had a creamy avocado sauce, tomato, lettuce, and coconut cheese on all in a wholemeal bun. Wow.

I also got a beetroot salad to go, with a basil creamy dressing.
The lemonades are all made with honey, so watch out for that (the server checked with me). Instead, I got a pomegranate and orange juice, where the fruit was picked from a bowl and squeezed fresh for me.
The place has a fast food feel, and takeout/ delivery seems to be popular. There are a few tables and chairs. They also do takeout.
Unfortunately, the cutlery is all plastic, but no straws, which is a good start.
It's super close to the nearest Metro, literally a 3 minute walk away.
Highly recommended! 😍💚😋

The food is simply great - tasty, filling, healthy - everything you could ask for. The staff is super friendly, feel free to ask for recommendations! Only downside was the amount of plastic. No matter takeout or eat in, everything comes in plastic boxes and is served with plastic utensils. Really hope they're working on this.
