great vegan pizza and soy cappuccino - Edit
In the midst of Alfama, Sao Tome 48 provides a beautiful little shaded terrace where you can watch the Lisbon trams climb the hills. They have great vegan pizza slices with lots of vegetables which you can spice up with homemade chili oil (ask for it!). Moreover, they offer the best soy cappuccino in town.
Pros: Excellent food, Great location, Good value

Nice to find vegan Argentinian food but avoid the pizza - Edit
Stumbled upon this Argentinian cafe with vegan options.
Vegan empanadas were a nice surprise as any vegans who have been to Argentina will know; I spent seven months there a few years ago and didn't manage to find a single empanada in the whole country. I didn't love the vegan pizza however as it was a spinach pizza base with a load of vegetables dumped on top in the middle. I was really excited when I saw the sign outside the cafe for vegan pizza and felt quite disappointed when I saw what was on offer and I don't think it's a good advertisement for a vegan diet!
The food was alright, the staff helpful and I liked the option of having it to take out.
Pros: vegan options Argentinian vegan food (somewhat rar, nice location
Cons: didn't like the pizza at all

superfriendly and great cake - Edit
The owner went back into the restaurant to heat me my pizza after he was already about to lock the door.
The vegan pizza was alright, just a lot of spinach and few other vegetables on it.
The carrot chocolate cake was fantastic and the owner told me that he likes to experiment and does the cake even without sugar.
I would rate the prices moderate (6€ for a big slice of pizza and a cake), but it´s also on a main tourist street.
Pros: friendly, great cake, cozy

Local charm - Edit
Popped in to this place. We had empanadas, pizza and cake. All vegan and all great. Good prices, english is basic but staff are super friendly and the food is great so i would recommend it.
Can only rate 4 as it is not completely vego. Has fish products and vegetarian. But it is definitely a 5 star option.
Pros: tastes great, relaxed, good prices
