I had the daily menu. 3 starters (soup, stuffed date, canapé). Quinoa pancakes with mushroom and apple were so unique and delicious. Server spoke English. Would go again

Read moregenerosas que no se hacen pesadas. El servicio es muy cercano y familiar, pudiendo charlar con los dueños que te sirven alli mismo y compartir un buen rato con trato excelente en un . El local es muy cuco, con colores vivos que aportan mucha luz. Se puede disfrutar de diferentes exposiciones, en esta ocasion una de fotografía de orquideas salvajes. Esta situado en un barrio tranquilo y agradable, justo al lado del río, lo que lo hace perfecto para pasear antes o después de la comida.

Very nice vegetarian place in the center of Elche, feels very homy, easily made into vegan options.
Read moreWe went there a few times, but I only took pictures this one time when I had the vegan quinoa burgers for take away.
The daily menu changes often, they always use seasonal vegetables.
The staff is very nice, even the cook approached us to ask who was vegan and explained the options on the menu, even adapted the dessert.
Once they gave me oranges for me to take home 🍊

We had quinoa burgers, also the best we’ve had and Curried rice with vegetables which was a fusion of flavours, not just curry.
Melon for dessert.
Service was great with the chef bringing the dishes to the table.
Free water was an unexpected bonus. Menu price reasonable.
Now our favourite restaurant, will be returning soon. Free parking nearby too, an unexpected bonus in Elche.

Almost totally vegan, interesting & creative dishes - Edit
This lovely little family restaurant is an excellent option for vegans even if it falls under the "vegetarian" category, because almost everything offered is vegan.
Read more(I asked and was told that some dishes on certain days may be vegetarian -ie: contain some dairy or egg, but on the day we went, there was only one, a dessert, that was not vegan. Also the owner said many dishes are or can be made gluten free.)
It works with a 3 course menu at 15,90e incl water (april 24) and this means:
- a set of 3 small starters,
- followed by a main course to choose (out of 5 options the day we were there) and
- a dessert out of those available on the day. (still water included)
The food was very creative and subtle, the presentation of the dishes delicate and the speed of service perfect = enough time to eat peacefully and not too long to wait between courses.
The decoration is simple even though there is some interesting art on the walls. It is very close to the historic center and Huerto del Cura (walking distance, 10-15 min) and Saba Congresso/Morera parking (leave your car there).

De lunch is super lekker.
Read moreHet bestaat uit: 3 kleine voorgerechten, voor het hoofdgerecht kan je kiezen uit 5 verschillende gerechten aansluitend een toetje met als afsluiting een sinaasappel, gefileerd.
Het eten is heel gevarieerd, de porties zijn prima, we hebben zeker voldoende gegeten.
Vegane opties zijn ook mogelijk.
Bij de maaltijd werd er een speciaal gefilterd water geserveerd.
De bediening is heel vriendelijk, je voelt je gelijk helemaal
op je gemaak.
Prijs kwaliteit verhouding is goed.
Is ben erg blij dat we hier terecht zijn gekomen, een aanrader.
