Sanus Fuerteventura

A lot of vegan stuff to choose. That was great and i am not used to it. And the Food (spinach balls as starter and gnocci for main) was very delicious. It makes sense to make a reservation.

Went here tonight for dinner! Their menu is online for you to check out. I had the spinach cakes with tofu for starters and it was absolutely delicious (loved by the omni boyfriend also). Overall good and interesting vegan main options, should be something for everyone. For vegans the options for dessert is either tiramisu or panna cotta, for others they had quite a selection of cheesecakes to choose from. That would be the only thing they could improve on... vegan cheesecake! Otherwise lovely place, lovely food and lovely staff. The location on Happy Cow is incorrect... this place is a actually opposite the citrus surf cafe (also on happy cow!)

Loved that place. They have an extra vegan menu card and you can choose between several starters (loved especially the spinach balls with humus), several main courses and second courses. Tried selfmade gnocchi with rucola/tomato-pesto, cauliflower with vegetables and black olives. All delicious! They also offer vegan tiramisù and panna cotta. Staff is extremely friendly and food is great. You need to book a table as the restaurant is very popular.

This Italian restaurant is 100%gluten free and serves absolutely delicious food! There are 4 different menu, including 1 vegeterian and 1 vegan.. I went there twice in a week, we loved the food (try the soy and lentils stew) and the staff is very friendly!
A must during your holiday!

To be honest, I was a little dubious at first as we thought the food might be too worthy - but we were wrong! This Italian run restaurant caters for meat eaters and vegetarians (as well as a dedicated celiac menu and is all gluten free) - but offers relatively extensive vegans options with a whole vegan page.

It is difficult to believe this classy place is just off the main drag in the town (with its burger bars and holiday tat shops). For my main I had home made gnocchi with vegan pesto (with ground almonds substituted for Parmesan a nice if mostly just cosmetic touch). My partner's large rice noodles and vegetables could easily have been bland, but was delicately flavoured and was delicious

We asked hopefully for a dessert menu (often overlooked in some places) and were served an amazingly tasty vegan tiramisu that was heavenly!

Not cheap (55 Euros for a bottle of wine, starter, main and dessert), but definitely worth it!

During our one-week holiday on Fuerteventura we had dinner at Sanus twice. The menu offered so many interesting dishes, that we just had to come back to try some more. Sanus offers menus in different categories: vegetarian, vegan, diabetic, coeliac and I think ‘normal’ was there as well :-) The first time we chose three starters to share and the vegetarian paella as main course. The paella was good, but the starters were great, with the pumpkin soufflé as the winner (we ordered it again the second time). Next time we had the vegetarian gnocchi with mushrooms and rosemary and the fried vegetables. If our holiday were longer we would probably have returned a second time. The service is adequate and friendly, the food tastes great and the house wine is equally good.

PS I haven't mentioned anything about the desserts. Compared to the starters and main courses they're not really worth mentioning. It's the only thing Sanus could improve on in my opinion.
