Great place to volunteer and support!

Came across this place when looking for a local animal organization to support. I got a quick and thorough response to my inquiry to the general email about volunteering. I showed up to volunteer later in the week (hours for volunteering were 8:30-12-30) and staff was very welcoming. Cleaned out kennels as there was a great need for help with that. Will definitely be back! This seems like a great organization that can use a lot of support, as they have so many animals that are frequently abandoned at the site by irresponsible owners. Stray and abandoned cats and dogs are a huge issue in PR, please consider checking out the many different ways you can help on their pages. Most staff were bilingual Spanish/English in case that is a concern.
