Great Food - Edit
I had their vegan moqueca with mushrooms and it was delicious! It is served with white rice and garlic bread crumbs on the side. I sat in their outdoor backyard seating. They were projecting a movie. The atmosphere was lively. They had an extensive cocktail menu.

Vegan Brazilian?! - Edit
I was thrilled that a Brazilian restaurant opened in my neighborhood. I was even more thrilled to find out that they are super veg - friendly! I think I’ve tried all of their vegan options at this point- the heart of palms moqueca is INCREDIBLE. I also love the veggie sandwich- a pleasant surprise since I usually find that that removing an ingredient to veganize something ends up lacking in flavor. Not the case here. All of their side dishes are vegan (rice & beans made without chicken stock etc) and they have a Brazilian truffle dessert called Brigadeiro that is made with oat milk. They have a limited menu now due to takeout only but hopefully they expand soon. One of the owners is vegan and has shared that they are passionate about having a menu that skews vegan instead of the opposite. a very welcome change in a part of Brooklyn that tends to be meat centric!
