Vegan Option in the Inaka

It’s true that there is a vegan mamebu soup option here as a filling main (you do pay extra however for the privilege of a vegetable stock 😕).

However, it’s very rare for any of these michi-no-eki restaurants to cater to vegans at all, so maybe it’s a sign of changing times.

The actual soup was a pretty strange local flavor, with sweet walnut dumplings in a salty broth with lots of carrot tofu and mushrooms. I’d have it again though!
