Excellent - Edit
I had the soup of the day (sweet potato bisque) that had a hint of smoke, and toast. Friends had pancake for breakfast and the not burger burger and crab cake sandwich. All of it looked fabulous. Not cheap, but it’s Sanibel prices. We’ll be back again.

Great Housemade Vegan Burger - Edit
There are so few places that serve truly vegan food that isn’t made of soy byproducts. I enjoyed the vegan burger and broccoli slaw. Very nice outdoor seating that welcomed our dog. They even brought him water.

Enjoyed the food, great looking desserts with vegan options. - Edit
I thought the prices were a little high, but that wasn’t going to change my rating. Friendly staff and I would definitely go back again.

Wonderful açaí bowls - Edit
Update: We’ve been here several times now and the service and food are consistently wonderful. Love it.
Read moreOP: Of the four of us, three had the açaí bowls (without honey) and they were filling and delicious.
The fourth, my 13-year-old son, had the impossible burger (his first one). He didn’t finish it because it tasted “too real”.
Nice people, good service, nice atmosphere.
Pros: Delicious , Easy to find , Smoothie options
Cons: Wish they had a few more vegan options

A New Favorite! - Edit
The last time I visited Sanibel Island, I came to Sanibel Fresh twice in one week. Because their vegan burger was so yummy, I ended up getting it twice along with the sweet potato chips and kombucha. I'm so happy to have a "new" restaurant on the island that has vegan options.

Dissapointed - Edit
Due to food allergies I only 2 options available to me the oatmeal, and the açaí bowl. I had the oatmeal, nothing FRESH about it.
Read moreIt was half cooked, one of those containers you add hot water to. At least there was real fruit on it...
$6.00 for a container of oatmeal I could have bought at the grocery...You can keep it.
If you have the words Fresh in your name, you should probably make an effort to actually serve fresh food.

sanibel fresh - Edit
Some good vegan options. Great house-made vegan burger. For an appetizer you can't beat the avocado toast. Nice house-made hummus plate. Large portions, helpful staff. Large, bare cavernous dining area slightly off-putting.

Pretty good! - Edit
Came here twice on our visit to Sanibel, had the roasted veggie stack and an açaí bowl with no honey, best food we had on our trip to Fort Meyers!
