Filling lunch - Edit
Stopped by on a drive from Melbourne to 12 Apostles. I had the Gado Gado. Very fresh and filling with a delicious peanut sauce. Glad I stopped here. Kitchen closes at 4 which is great.

Cons: Vegan menu items not specifically labelled

Underwhelmed - Edit
Ordered the vegetarian lasagne. Serving size wouldn't be adequate for a small child let alone an adult. To make matters worse they think that $16 for this entree size meal is appropriate. Pricing structure seems to be exploiting the tourist nature of the area.
Pros: Quick service
Cons: Limited menu , Small serving sizes

Surprised to see good reviews of this place, perhaps we caught it on a very bad day???
2 available Vegan options that I am aware of, the tofu 'scramble' and lentil patties.
The service was incredibly slow, the place was all but empty when we arrived, it took 20-30 minutes to serve our food after ordering and patrons who arrived and ordered after us received their meals before us. We both ordered the tofu scramble. The tofu was simply diced, not scrambled and the portions were very small (just enough 'scramble' to cover 1 piece of toast). Tofu scrambles are generally quite large. Price was $16. Flavour was quite nice, but it was also quite oily.
Cons: slow, very small portion, over priced by a long way

Excellent - Edit
My husband and I enjoyed some great breakfasts here and some delicious coffee. I had the scrambled tofu which wasn't technically a scramble as such but it was very delicious. It was made with tomato and spinach and red pepper and had a side of toast.
I'd recommend this place to any vegans stopping in Apollo Bay.
Pros: Good to see a proper breakfast for vegans on a men
Cons: Sadly no cakes were vegan.

It's not a mirage - Edit
Out along the Great Ocean Road, as a vegan, options may seem limited. But thanks to Happy Cow, I visited Sandy Feet Cafe this week and am pleased to report you do have some options. Even more if you are vegetarian (or gluten free). They do a range of breakfasts and can make the big breaky with scrambled tofu instead of eggs, but the scrambled tofu on it's own is more than enough! It was so tasty, I ate the whole lot, then realised I had eaten too much. Oops, be careful not to make that mistake.
Service is friendly. There is outdoor seating and coffee is pretty good too.
