Thanks for the advance warning, dear Merav, we will obviously not eat at a place that encourages hatred wrapped in stupidity and a lack of understanding of reality. When I'll return from our trip and share the places we ate with the big vegan groups on social media - I will also inform the Israeli vegan community to give up on this place. We will spend our money at vegan places that choose to host people with a little love instead of a lot of stupid hate and antisemitism.

I tried their bowls (Shawarma, Bun Cha, and Bun Bo Nam Bo) and enjoyed all of them. The flavor balance was really good, and the portions were large, although I would have liked a bit more soy meat. Prices were fair overall.

Nice and friendly staff. Tasty food. There are no labels with allergens or if it's spicy. Many dishes looks similarly so it's sometimes difficult to guess what is it. Just ask. :)

Lovely hot buffet (100gr / 39 czk), with a tasty blend of indian fusion.
Gotta love a full out vegan place like this. Definitely one of the highlights
of this Prague stay.

Sandokan is one of those places where I feel like home. The food is great, the staff is very friendly and I always look forward to going back there. They serve Obora beer which I love so make sure to give it a try.

Sandokan staff cooks very well. And uses excellent ingredients for the daily offer. Nice selection of alcoholic beverages too if you are in the mood 😉. Always playing good music.

Buffet with a nice offer of cold and hot dishes, many of these hot dishes have their own sauce. Staff will explain to you what's in the buffet, and off course which sauces you have to try.

Sandokan Bistro is a nice and much better version of buffet places like Dhaba Beas or Loving Hut. Incredible freshness, friendly service, tasty food, lots of condiments and frequent changes to the food selection and menu. The owner is the face of the whole place and you can tell he lives his bistro.
Read moreMy favourite dish from the non-buffet menu is the vegan option at Bun Bo Nam Bo. I appreciate the various events that are hosted at the establishment. I have to say that in the last few years, Sandokan has made prices quite expensive. However, it's nothing crazy.
Overall, I would say that Sandokan Bistro is a great vegan bistro from which you can feel the love for food. I wish there were more vegan places like this in Prague.

One of the best places in Prague - Edit
I love it here and come regularly. The buffet is always spot on but the meals you can order separately from the buffet never disappoint. I love the tacos and the Shwarma bowl (pictured) is absolutely huge.
