They have many vegan options and I came here because it was one of the higher rated beach bars in Playa Del Carmen on Happy Cow. I ordered a Hindi burger which is labeled Vegano, like that’s the only way to make it. I heard the server say it to the kitchen, as well as to me when he brought it out. I thought it was too good to be true but I’ve had meat replacements that have been good. My husband decided he wanted one to have one too and he ordered another one, and they brought it out with a mushroom, and that’s when I knew something was really wrong. Nothing triggered me that it was a real burger, usually I get this overwhelming iron taste and spit it right out but I didn’t experience that. It definitely ruined our time at the beach club and my husband didn’t even want to stay after that. He’s been vegan for 8 years and me for 5. The place was really apologetic after that and offered us a discount but you know if you’re vegan and order a clearly labeled vegan item there’s no way to really make it right it is what it is.

Also the buffalo wings are not vegan, they told us they use egg and the ranch is regular ranch.
