-vegan tuna avocado roll - okay 5.5/10. The plant based tuna has a ways to go. Kind of a weird flavor and texture to a lesser degree.

Vegan Sushi Options -Not Recommended - Edit
My partner and I were so excited to hear of another spot that offered vegan sushi options. We are big fans of Shizen (vegan sushi restaurant) and couldn’t get a reservation so we decided to finally give Sancha Sushi a try. After ordering a couple of rolls, we weren’t pleased as the vegan rolls were really mushy, tasted fishy, and were overpowered with different sauces. It seemed as if the sauces were just randomly thrown on the rolls. We had high expectations and did not enjoy our meal. However, the staff were really friendly!

Best Vegan sushi in SF! - Edit
The menu has tons of interesting vegan options...the vegan ahi tuna is excellent and all other veggie-centric rolls were very tasty. Everything we tried had a great mix of flavors, and we felt the portions were fairly generous. We tried the ahi tuna tofu pouches, the ahi tuna cucumber roll, the Daniel San roll, and the Mountain roll. Would recommend everything we tried, and will definitely be going back to try more.

Inspired vegan sushi rolls - Edit
We stumbled upon this place while waiting for the bus. There has been a sushi place here for a long time, but new owners have revamped everything and offer a long list of vegan sushi with some unexpected combinations. Tempura asparagus with candied yam and baconaise? How about spinach, shiitake and vegan mozzarella?

With ping pong and pool in the back, this place is primed to be a hot spot once the word gets out.

everything here was so good. I was kind of skeptical of the california roll being made with cauliflower, but it was super creamy and delicious. I also ordered the eggplant and the avocado tofu pockets. everything was so good!
