Amazing vegan food near wat - Edit
Right next to Wat Mongkhon Wararam. Staff was friendly, vegan options were plentiful. Was 150 THB for 2 people for a lot of food. Will be back here!

I see everything is getting more expensive in Thailand, back in December 2022 we used to pay 180 to 220 baht for 4 meals.

Good for the money, smiling and polite old lady likes that spicy food! So make sure you ask which ones are "not that spicy" :)!
Read moreAlso, always ask if there's fish, meat, milk,egg, shrimp in food even if they say it's all vegan one day, it might not be so the next day. We once almost ordered fried rice with shrimp paste and luckily the young lady that also works there told us that it's not vegan, the rest of the foods that day were vegan tho.
Overall we loved going there, especially for the price! We were buying take-away and enjoying it daily from this place for some good 3 weeks!
Pros: Quality food, Nice staff , Good price
Cons: Spicy , Spicy , Did I say spicy is the most loved word there :)?

Local, Thai, VEGAN Great Value - Edit
A little breakfast and lunch spot, Buffet setup alot like local Thai eateries, but all VEGAN and there are roughly 10 to 12 choices. Get a healthy portion of rice and then you pick what you want usually 2 or 3 items, food was simple but tasty, like eating at your Thai granny's house and very very responsibly priced.
Read moreIf you are entering town from the south headed towards the airport, it's right before the main strip @ the 7-11 on left, at the fork in the road that takes you to Nai Yang Beach. Google maps is mostly correct and usually see piles of fresh coconuts out front and directly across the street from popular money exchange place.
Check hours .. usually close around 1 pm or when food runs out .. I suggest getting there before 12 noon for lunch. Currently open Monday to Friday.

I would simply suggest anyone always make sure and ask about no meat, fish, chicken, milk, egg, shrimp just to be sure. I mean, it was only once, however the nice old lady that mostly serves food there might not mention that this or that dish isn't vegan, let alone is super spicy 😅

Oddly enough we saw her open and still working with some food after noon as well. Probably depends on how much clients she gets on a day. One day we ordered 8 take away portions and she ran out of some of the foods there and once she was done serving us she started cooking some more rice and looking for other ingredients.

They are closed every Saturday and Sunday as far as I remember from our recent experience. They are also closed during Thai national holidays.
