Great small surprising corner! Vegan & Vegetarian paradise - Edit
We went several times, some times not able to caught a table, but you can wait until a table vacate or return later. The first time I went with a friend at noon and we have taken the service of homemade focacia bread, a vegan pasta, a vegetable lasagna and drinks for 30 euros, being everything made by them is worth spending a few more euros. Then I went back with my partner for a romantic dinner, since the atmosphere is ideal, privacy and good vibes, you enjoy the evening at your leisure without hurry, this time the evening was worth going for all starter we took the caprese salad, bread service foccacia , pasta with seafood (far the best I've tasted) and my partner lasagna of meat, or rather the mega super lasagna of meat, a bottle of wine and topped with a tiramisu for 70euros and worth every penny !!! This is a place where you will find amazing food period: is Vegan & Vegetarian paradise with so many options including Vegan Dark Choco Cake and Vegan Ice-Cream to die for!!! and my boyfriend said his Lasagna was the best he even tried!!! As the lasagna was giant, and we had a bit of foccacia the waiter put us to take away and it was the best of noon the next day at home !!! The place is super small, and at night as in the whole area of the quarries runs a bit of breeze, but they provide blankets, heater and screens to get comfortable. Congratulations!!! and see you soon!

Disappointing - Edit
Tiny place with seating outside. Nice personal service. Great wine, but disappointing food. The aubergine parmigiana didn’t have tomato sauce and the tiramisu was not really edible. The pizza was fine.

Thanks Jennifer for your visit and your time sharing your experience. As you and all dinners can see, most of the people do like our cooking. Of course you are used to vegan balls, burgers and salads as per your performance on your profile, those type of places are the ones that satisfy you better linked with lower prices. No wonder why you did not enjoyed anything at San Andrea. We encourage all diners to carefully read other travelers reviews and think if you will be satisfied as them... Becouse the biggest disappointment it is not really the food, it is people does not find what makes them happy... if you are looking for affordable places well that's that... salads burgers and sandwiches... then if you are looking for a full homemade meal that's that as well... we believe there is a place for each one in this world... the challenge is to find the one suits you better and enjoy the ride!!! Have a Fantastic Holiday!!! Regards

Fantastic, highly recommended - Edit
This restaurant has some vegan options, but when we went they also offered additional not-on-the-menu options, so ask the waiter what vegan options are available. Everything is clearly labelled as vegan, including the beer. The garlic bread was out of this world, with hummus. Had it as a starter one night and returned to have it as a main the following night! We also had ravioli with tofu-ricotta and spinach filling. Fantastic! Expect service to take a bit longer, this is part of their service. Enjoy the atmosphere while having a drink while waiting for food.

Delicious - Edit
Visited San Andrea for lunch whist staying in Las Palmas with a friend who now lives here, upon her recommendation.
Read moreReally impressed by this little, friendly Italian eaterie. I had vegan pizza which was topped with loads of veggies (inc asparagus, broccoli, aubergine) a tasty tomato sauce and pesto. Also had a chunky slice of squash in the middle which added a creamy taste, very delicious. Took a while to come (the clue is in the name though: "slow cooking") but only a problem for us as we had limited time. However it was made entirely fresh and, as another reviewer worded it, made with love. So true! They were happy to box up what we couldn't finish and take away to enjoy later.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Hope to be back before my holiday ends as its just a short walk from where I'm staying - v lucky!
Pros: Cooked fresh from scratch , Friendly staff, Good vegan options
Cons: Can take time (have a starter if you're hungry!)

Really good - Edit
Had a lovely meal here while visiting Gran Canaria for the day. Everyone was very warm and friendly, I had the vegan pizza which was loaded with lovely fresh veggies, was quite big so sadly didn't have room for their vegan chocolate cake. Would definitely visit again should we return to Gran Canaria x

the smallest restaurant in las palmas - Edit
This was the first restaurant we tried in Gran Canaria. It's the smallest in the capital, with only 2 tables of 2 inside and some outside seating. We were sat outside and kindly provided with blankets as it was pretty windy. The food was delicious. For starters we had vegan garlic bread and for mains we had Spinach tagliatelle with roasted veg in a tomatoey sauce and a vegan pizza. All were really excellent and the lady serving was really friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend a visit for a good vegan meal! Try to get there early to grab a table!
