I think it‘s closed. - Edit
We‘ve been there a few years ago and it was pretty good. Now there’s a different restaurant, Google says it’s closed. The new restaurant/café also has vegan options and it’s called “Fresquito”. Will post it as a new café😄

Best vegan pizza in town - Edit
Yes, the vegan pizza is more expensive than the regular one but think about the work and money going into finding, buying and storing delicious vegan cheese and toppings. I hate their chairs but the location, food and the friendliest owners ever make up for it. And the pizza is AWESOME.

Vegan options are way more expensive - Edit
Vegan pizza for 15€, while the same one with meat costs 11-12€. Do not support this.

Ridiculous pricing for vegan options - Edit
No matter the quality of food, when the price for carnivore pizza is 11 euros and 14 for the vegan one (really? aubergine is more expensive then iberian ham or tuna?), you know where not to go. Most options are meat anyway. Plenty of other places in Las Palmas to go, do not support this.

A little bit of everything - Edit
Went here for lunch. They had some options for starters, some main meal vegan options and a desert option, which is more than enough to make me happy. I had garlic bread and hummus for starters, and pumpkin gnocchi for the main meal. It was really good. The place is cozy with outside and inside seating. The vegan options are clearly marked on the menu.

Very good options for vegans - Edit
There is a good selection of vegan options for starters, mains and desserts. The beetroot gnocchi and vegan pasta were very good. Staff are knowledgable about diet requirements.

Friendly with well marked menu - Edit
As previous reviews stated the vegan options are clearly marked and on arrival we were asked if we had any dietary requirements which was great putting it out there from the off. We had garlic bread (yum), grilled vegetables (yum), vegetable pizza (great crispy crust) and beetroot gnocchi (very generous portion). Polite waiter and nice owner made the experience all the better for two hangry vegans.

Slow cooking by the beach - Edit
This was a delightful little find at the previous location, which was remarkably small. They have moved further down the road to a larger premises, maintaining the high quality of the food and ingredients. Lovely international couple running the place making sure you’re happy with what they serve. Must try the home-made chilli sauce!

Great vegan options - Edit
The menu has vegetarian (v) and vegan (v&v) choices clearly labeled. In addition, there’s also a vegan special that’s not on the menu. I had that, which was ravioli today, and it was the best ravioli I’ve had, meat or no meat. The owner was friendly and the place has a nice atmosphere.

The best VEGAN restaurant I went to - Edit
This is the best vegan restaurant I went to! I had the pumpkin gnocchi and they were so good. We also ordered some bread as a starter and the waiter veganized it which just shows how amazing this restaurant is. The little detailers matter! They also have a lot of vegan options and some can be made vegan. I very much recommend this restaurant, especially when you're a couple because the atmosphere is very romantic!

Great food here today - Edit
Unfortunately I can't rate this 5 stars due to the app. They have loads of vegan options, pretty much everything in the menu can be changed to vegan. Great service, they're always happy to help you find the perfect meal for you. Would recommend!

Mostly veggie - Edit
Little restaurant near the main tourist drag. We were really nicely surprised to find that most of the main dishes were veggie with vegan options. Friendly staff and fab food. Cooked fresh so can take a while - like all good food should be. Highly recommend.

Old Fashioned Homemade Cuisine made with love and organic products- Simply amazing! - Edit
We visited the restaurant during xmas & NY, and as you could imagine there was a big line for tables, we were patient and waited for a table. Once you are seated they take the time to explain their options. We never felt rushed even though it was a line, we were able to enjoy the most amazing food we had in Las Palmas for a reasonable price, excellent service in clear English and honest, they won't doubt to advise you if you are ordering to much bread or too much food. Its a must visit. Highly recommended.

Slow cooking is good cooking - Edit
We knew San Andrea was a small establishment and as we walked towards the restaurant we could see all the tables inside and outside were full, luckily a customer was just finishing up so we had a very short wait before grabbing a table. When the waiter came to greet us he made us feel very welcome and explained the style of the restaurant and inquired about our likes and dislikes, he then made some recommendations and explained about the vegan and vegetarian options from the menu but gave us time to look over the whole menu in case there was something else that caught our eyes. Although there were many items on the menu we liked the look of, we decided to go with our waiter's recommendations. When we came to choose some wine the initial bottle that we had selected was unavailable and the waiter explained that he had an alternative which was just as good, also sometimes they changed the wines before they could change the menu. We shared a tasty starter and the replacement wine was a perfect accompaniment. There was a short wait between starter and main but it was a very pleasant evening and we were happy to relax outside, San Andrea is another example of slow cooking is the best cooking. The mains were excellent with wonderful fresh pasta and the aubergine lasagna was delicious and very filling! It was the best veg lasagna we had in Gran Canaria. When it came time for dessert we had just enough room for some gorgeous banana cake, fruity, rich and not too sweet, and a delightful affogato. This was not the cheapest meal we had on Gran Canaria but we were very happy with the service and quality of food, and did not begrudge a single euro. We also noted that additional tables were put out when other customers arrived at the restaurant, so if it appears full - ask if they can put additional tables out.

Pretty good, expected a bit more - Edit
Appetizer (garlic bread, hummus) and dessert (banana and dark chocolate cake with banana/coconut ice cream) were delicious, but the main dishes were improvable. We had vegan pizza (without vegan cheese), which was more like a vegetable casserole with strange combinations (asparagus, beetroot, string beans, zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, ... -> it was way too much stuff on the pizza). The pumpkin gnocchi were pretty good though.

Fancy vegan pizza - Edit
This is a small and fancy little restaurant, specially for a couple given the romantic setting of the place. I had a vegan pizza just for myself and it was huge and delicious, had to take some pieces home (which I just ate an hour later because it was great)

Great Home-made Italian Food - Edit
This petite restaurant immediately produced a menu with the vegetarian options clearly labelled. My waiter was able to explain the dishes in perfect english, knowing exactly what a vegetarian could eat.
Read moreI choose the home-made pumpkin gnocci, which was absoloutely delicious. I was also brought some home made hummus and bread, also yummy.
There were a couple of other vegetarian options too, but sadly it was my last night in Las Palmas so I didn't get to try any others.
I also had a smooth full bodied glass of red and a great coffee. All very reasonable. I'll definitely go back on my next visit
Pros: Good choice of vegetarian options, Vegetarian food labelled clearly, Friendly knowledgeable staff

Delicious vegan pizza - Edit
I normally try to avoid places that sell meat, but we were trying to find somewhere to eat next to the beach and this place came up on happy cow. And I am SO pleased we went. The menu is very clearly labelled with vegan options (and also other food allergies) and the food was absolutely amazing. We had this huge vegetable pizza which my partner said was one of the best he ever had and some really nice pumpkin gnocchi.

Para disfrutar en familia! Calidad -Precio insuperable!!!! - Edit
Enhorabuena!!

Vegan Oasis -Definitely deserves 5 stars!!! - Edit
This place makes an exceptional effort to cater for all needs, respecting each diet specification. It makes so much easier to find a place like this when you are hanging out with different people, I am Vegan, however, my friends some are Vegetarians and some others eat everything so it's nice to sit and enjoy a meal that fits all of us in the same level! I ordered their vegan starter (best hummus I ever tried and delicious selection of veggies), vegan ravioli ...oh dear... this is what took me straight to heaven!!! I could not help myself and I topped up with the double dark choco cake and vegan ice cream... and yes by then I found myself as a stuffed happy vegan man! Also nice to find vegan beer, although their house wine is very good as well. My friends were very pleased with their meals as well, so great place to go with different diets. The place is located 20mts from Las Canteras beach, a very nice view of the sea away from the very busy promenade, also they have a fire stove and blankets as during the evening being so close to the sea there is breeze, so overall they make a very good job food, service, accommodation and price ratio. This is a place where you can get an affordable one-course meal or a proper 3 courses meal depending on your own choice! Highly recommended!
