Very good - Edit
This place made happy today! Great food, really tasty buffet with extras you can order. The green tea at the end just sealed the deal as it was super cold outside. Such a great value for money too. Would definitely go again.

Nice food - Edit
Almost all of the dishes have no onion and garlic, but the kimchi has. Have to ask.

nice temple food - Edit
came here for dinner. had a set menu for 10,000 won. while it didn't have a lot of flavour, it was a relief to find a vegetarian option in this area

lunch buffet - Edit
Had the lunch buffet (9,000won) twice thus far. There's about 6 dishes to choose from, as well as salad, soup and dessert. The food was good and it was mostly different for the two separate days I went, I find it value for money. I find the kimchi a little weird though, although i checked with the staff regarding onion/garlic/fish sauce

If you're trying to find it on google or citymapper try searching for Samso Buddhist temple food or templestay information centre. It's on the second floor. The food is great, fresh and flavoursome. Samso Buddhist Temple Food

Amazing Korean Food Experience - Edit
The buffet was just awesome and super cheap. You get a soup, a not so sweet dessert and a plate to stuff rice and all the amazingly prepared vegetables and fruits on it. When we were there, a bunch of monks have been sitting at the next table. Its just a supernice place!

8,000 won for Lunch Buffet! Cheapest in Seoul! - Edit
Seriously love this place!
Read moreI have been 3 times and it's simple, healthy and wholesome temple food. Lots of windows and natural light. I have enjoyed- rice, soup, jjajang and curry sauce, sweet potatoes, delicious tofu, Kimchi and other side dishes, fruit and tea. They follow the temple rules, so you must eat all your food or you have to pay a little extra.
It is a small buffet, so just get a little of everything.. eat it all and go back for more.
Seems similar to a macrobiotic type of diet.
Directly across from Jogyesa Temple in Insadong. Very easy to find!
Temple stay center offers free craft making.
Pros: Cheapest buffet in Seoul, Temple Food Experience, Good Location
