The best

We come here all the time for their many vegan options including a large variety of vegan baked goods. Very fair prices as well.

Spectacular!

Absolutely loved this place! Went with a party of three, all three vegan entrées were an adventure! Employees were extremely helpful and engaging. The food was delicious and well prepared. Be sure to save room for the spectacular desserts!!

Awesome vegan options

Mediterranean cafe with many many vegan options. Several entrees and save room for the desserts. We had a family lunch here with 1/2 group vegan and 1/2 meat eaters. For appetizers we had the hummus flatbread - fantastic. For lunch we had vegan maklouba and mousakkah rice bowl. Both fully vegan and awesome. For desert the apple spice cake, carrot cake and the espresso fudge brownie - vegan all. We will definitely be back. Should be able to give it 5 stars

So many vegan options I would definitely give 5 stars if I could! T

I always order the lentil soup! Love the falafel wrap and the make your own pizza with no cheese, they do not offer a vegan cheese option.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Best selection of vegan desserts

Cons: Outside seating is near the main road

Would give 5 stars if I could!

One of the very few places in Vero Beach you can get many Vegan options. Have eaten here many times and it’s always fresh and delicious.

Pros: Lots of vegan options - reasonably priced , Excellent flavor, My takeout order was super fast!

So many options!

For a non vegan restaurant they could basically have a full menu of just their vegan options. They have a lot to offer, from appetizers all the way to desserts. The eggplant wrap is amazing. They have daily revolving specials that also always include 2 or 3 vegan options. The staff are very knowledgeable, very good at making suggestions on how to make non vegan items vegan, as well as suggesting items in general. Highly recommend Sammys, must try for any vegans in the area

Best vegan food in Vero

I’ve eaten here twice now and it’s one of my favorite restaurants ever. They have so many vegan options (including some mouthwatering desserts)! They are all clearly marked on their menu. The service is also really great.

Great vegan options

We ate here twice and the food was delicious. Both times our wait staff was vegan and very knowledgeable very enthusiastic and helpful. In addition to a number of clearly marked vegan Mediterranean options they had a number of vegan desserts. One of the best selections of vegan cakes I’ve seen. Not only are there few other options in the area, this place is superb. We recommend it highly

Best vegan options in town!

So, this place just became a favorite spot in Vero. I am vegan, and my date was gluten intolerant and pescatarian (I am working on her), but all items were clearly marked with a V for vegan and GF for gluten-free, and half the menu were options. Our server was vegan, and he even offered suggestions to veganize other menu options and was helpful with which wines were vegan. He even recommended another vegan restaurant 45 minutes away we could try, Fruits and Roots in Stuart, which just so happens to be one of my favorite restaurants. The food was excellent, I had the Moussaka and my date had Tabouli and we both enjoyed our meals. Unfortunately we didn’t leave any room for dessert because they had a variety of delicious looking vegan dessert options. We will definitely be going back!

Pros: Lots of vegan options. , Delicious Mediterranean food. , Items clearly marked vegan on menu.

So many choices

I ate lunch here and I really liked it. I wish I had found it sooner. I got the falafel and side salad. My friend got the lentail soup. It was all really good. The lentail soup was thick and hearty. The menu was label vegan and made ordering really easy. I want to go back and try it all. There are so many vegan choices I had a hard time deciding.

Vegan Cake!

Sammy's is my favorite restaurant to go to with nonvegan coworkers/friends/family. Their food comes from all different middle eastern and Mediterranean regions and is overall excellent. My favorite dishes are the vegan shwarma, cauliflower sandwich, lentil salad, spinach pie, and lentils with fried onions. Their customizable flatbreads are great, too! I personally wasn't a huge fan of their baba ganouj or falafel. In addition, they always have vegan cakes in the case. The pistachio is my favorite, and the chocolate is good but not great. Overall fast, friendly service and high quality vegan food.

Definitely visit

My husband and I were looking for vegan options here in Vero Beach. We found Sammy’s on Happy Cow. So glad we took a chance.

We actually met Sammy. Super nice man. He told us that two of his daughters are not only vegan but that they insisted that he add vegan options to the menu. This place is very popular and stays busy.

We had the hummus and pita bread. We also had lentil soup, falafels with salad and vegan desserts. Everything was tasty. Will definitely return.

What a great cafe! There are so many vegan options to choose from. The menu is clearly labeled so the vegan items are easy to find. We had the cauliflower, spinach pie, flat bread and the mussaka. Everything was delicious. To top it off we also had three different slices of cake. They were out of this world. I know where I am buying my next birthday cake. 😊
