Great vegan food and lovely staff - Edit
Review from January 2026: We’ve visited Samelo Veg a few times over the years and our latest visit in January 2026 was another great experience. The food is lovely and the staff are super welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed the Canarian-Mexican tacos and the Spanish omelet skewer to start, then for mains we had lasagne and 'The Plantain' pizza. Everything was fresh and tasty and the portions were generous (we had to take some of the pizza home). We couldn’t resist desserts and went for the chocolate cake and the ‘sweet Guanche’ (an ice cream sundae) which were both delicious.
Read moreReview from January 2025: We visited Samelo Veg in January 2025 and would definitely recommend. It's fully vegan (and I think gluten free) and had a wide selection of dishes to choose from. We forgot to take photos but enjoyed a roast sweet potato dish that came with 'chicken' pieces and vegetables and a grilled vegetable pizza. We finished up with a lovely chocolate cake and a mango mousse. Everything was very tasty and very well presented. The serving staff were lovely and friendly so a great experience overall.

It is open only in the afternoon 13-18 . Very good variety of vegan options . We had mix plate of tapas , ravioli, fresh lemonade , black burger and cheese cake . The owners are so lovely .

We decided on two pizzas (Applatanada and Focaccia Samelo). The combination of ingredients was very good. Potatoes on a pizza were our highlight and it was very good. However, both pizzas were very greasy. The staff was incredibly friendly.

Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und bedient. Wir hatten die Kartoffel-Tortillia, Tacos, Pilz-Ravioli, Pizza und Cheesecake. Alles war sehr lecker und hübsch serviert. Wir können es sehr empfehlen. Preislich ist es in unseren Augen auch völlig in Ordnung. Für die genannten Speisen und zwei Getränke haben wir etwas unter 60€ bezahlt.
Read morePraktisch ist auch, dass direkt daneben ein Supermarkt ist, in dem es Alpro Joghurt und Drinks gibt. In der Tiefgarage parkt man 2h kostenfrei, danach 1,80€ pro Stunde. WCs sind verfügbar und sauber.

Comida riquísima y servicio muy amable! Comer aquí ha sido una experiencia super agradable, éramos un grupo grande y hemos podido probar muchos platos y todo estaba delicioso. Vandaag hebben wij ontzettend lekker gegeten bij Samelo Veg. Wij konden niet kiezen uit alle lekkere voorgerechten en namen daarom een proeverij van voorgerechten een kaasplank. Ik heb nog nooit zulke lekkere veganistische kaas gehad. Ook het hoofdgerecht was top! Wij gingen voor de pad thai . De pizza calzone van onze oudste dochter was ook ontzettend lekker. De burger van onze jongste dochter vonden wij ook lekker, maar hebben wij elders op het eiland lekkerder gegeten.

I had fresh bread with aioli for a starter, handmade pasta and cake. Good size of the portions, not too much. Also a good local vino. Staff was very frindly and the price very ok. Can recommend.😄

Would highly recommend the sharing tapas starter everything on the plate was 10/10!

Read moreWe had the walnut tagliatelle and the blue cheese pizza, they were both tasty. The prices are kind of high at 15€/dish and the portions were not that big.
The tagliatelle dish could have had some more tagliatelle noodles.
I liked the pizza but it was very salty and had pear slices on it, which is definitely not very typical for a pizza.

very delicious food, restaurant has quite fancy vibe and is a bit pricey (especially for a tourist not using euro), but the food is really great. the only downside is kitchen hours, you can order food only from 1pm to 4:30pm.
