Vegetarian restaurant and yoga studio

Bonus points for being all vegetarian and having gluten-free labels. Prices for food was higher than other vegan options in the area. My Indonesian meal was tasty, hot, well-seasoned, good serving size.

Pros: Gluten free labeled menu, Attached to yoga studio

Disappointingly tasteless

I just hope for this place that something went wrong that evening: the Balinese dish was served and looked fine - but tasted absolutely unseasoned. It was like separately prepared ingredients which didn’t come to life even when mixed together.
The garden is nice, set back from one of the busy streets next to a yoga studio. Many mosquitos!
Would give it a second chance though!

Nourishing healthy food

Came here for brunch. Really nice outdoor atmosphere. I had the ninja bowl which was so filling! Felt good eating “clean.”

Fresh

Great vegan options made fresh beside a yoga studio and some rather expressive geese! Love “the boss” dog, too.

Such a cozy place!

We had our lunch in their lush and calm garden soon after their Sunday Market. The food was delicious, service is excellent and the price fair enough!

Very nice

Good healthy food in a nice tranquil and outside setting. Good range of food and good service too.

Be warned that in this area it is hard to get a taxi as the local taxis restrict Grab/Uber and even Bluebird from picking up customers. Think about how you will go to your next destination.

Really good food, but some strange people

To start with, I'll say that I loved the food here. The vegan breakfast was as good as a breakfast as I've ever had.

I found some of the other customers here a little unorthodox though. It's also a yoga studio, and so attracted a bit more of a new mum, hippy kind of crowd. One guy was changing his baby's diaper at the table, which I thought was a little inappropriate for a restaurant. But it was that kind of place.

Yoga, food, sunday market!!!

Omg! You have to go to the Sunday local market! Start from 9:00 to 14:00 - organic fruit and veggies, vegan cakes, spices, superfoods, clothes, accessories, cosmetics, all good ❤️
Best yoga in Canggu (my opinion), nice shop with yoga clothes (expensive but good quality), nice vegetarian restaurant✔️

Pros: Perfect hiden place with peace atmo, Lot of vegan options, Nice staff ❤️

Cons: Smoothie bowls are cold 🙈

Vegetarian, fresh, delicious food

Samadi Kitchen serves freshly made food, made from predominantly organic produce, locally grown.
A wide variety of Indian food, Raw, vegan, and cuisines from different parts of the world. Portions are large enough to feed big appetites.
The cafe is set in a serene quiet outdoor space, family friendly. Open from 8 am until 9 pm.

Pros: Vegetarian, Fresh home made, beautiful lush setting

Cons: no meat, no alcohol, closes at 9 pm

Some yoga and food after

Samadi yoga has a vegetarian restaurant in their garden. It is a nice place with a menu that offers vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food. I have been eating there a couple of times and I like the place. However, it feels a little bit like the (very nice) cafeteria you go to after class more than a restaurant that you visit for the specific "restaurant experience" reson. So next time I will have to take a class as well ;-) I recommend the Mysore dosas.

Pros: Nice venue, Tasty Dosas, Sunday organic market

Cons: You order in at the counter

Beautiful space, beautiful energy

Samadi is a great Bali find. They host ashtanga yoga classes in a surreal studio built over rushing water with teachers that are thoroughly invested in the practice... in your practice. The little cafe just outside of the studio is sweet, serene and perfect post-yoga or for just stopping in any time. The drive alone to Samadi in Canggu is worth it. They host a farmer's market on Sundays which are amazing. Fresh produce, local wares, homemade nut butters. Wednesdays they often screen films accompanied by a vegan buffet. Food is a good but the atmosphere and the people are the real draw.

Pros: Atmosphere / Location /Mood, People/ Owners/ Service, What they represent
