Chinese name 三摩地茶艺空间. No onion, garlic, shallot, chive, leek, spring onion or egg. Chinese vegan food restaurant located on second floor in building that also houses the Home Inn Hotel. Uses a large variety of mock meats. Menu in Chinese only and no English spoken. Fine dining environment. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-2:00pm, Mon-Sun 5:00pm-8:30pm.

Probably my new favorite in Beijing - Edit
I was really impressed with Samadhi. Lots of interesting creations, not the standard fare at all. Eg, corn, white fungus & pinenut salad, served in an edible spoon.
The place is fairly classy, and the overall standard of food was very high.
There are no mock meats, its all vegies and tofu based.
Expect to pay about 150-200 per person for a complete meal, although it would be possible to skimp and pay less.
Definitely worth a visit, and deserves more attention than what it has received on Happy Cow so far.

Lanky 17 Dec 2016 - So I went back there tonight. It was still good, but nowhere near as good as last time. I dont know whether we ordered the wrong things this time, or whether somthing has changed.

Beautiful place and good food - Edit
Samadhi Vegetarian Teahouse is located at the second floor of a buildin, which is very close to the SOS international clinic of Beijing (close to Liangma river). Restaurant is beautiful and peaceful. Food is not the cheapest in Beijing, but it's very good. Sometimes all the dishes and drinks listed on the menu are not available, but the menu is extensive.
