I won’t be back - Edit

Despite reading the honest Happy Cow reviews, we had a 35% off coupon for food, so we stopped in San Diego’s when we were nearby. We sat at the bar, the drinks looked fantastic, but I was going to work so didn’t try them. The vegan menu was limited, as reviewers have said. The bartender was so friendly and knew all about vegan options, so I had high hopes anyway. The chips and salsa were less than mediocre. The guacamole was grey. Our food arrived an hour after we ordered it- I saw tables seated after us finish eating, pay and leave before our food arrived. We had to take the food to go so I could get to work. It was pretty awful- the vegetables, salsa, flour tortilla, and sauces all tasted like they were from an old jar from the back of the cupboard or had been sitting in a freezer bag for years. At then end it wasn’t worth the discount to have paid 65% for a terrible meal and awful experience.

Pros: vegan menu- 4 burrito choices

Cons: terrible food, terrible timing from the kitchen, just awful

Don't go there. - Edit

Ok servings are big but half of the plate is filled with absolutely disgusting sides of tasteless veggies. And the burrito was not that good... we wish we hadnt come here.

Pros: none

Cons: tasteless

Pretty good - Edit

When you are being seated, ask for the vegan menu. They have 4 options. 3 burritos and 1 quesadilla. The vegan menu is not visible on their web site. The chips and salsa were great. The burritos were large and filling but coming from Philadelphia where there are truly awesome vegan choices, it wasn't astounding. However Hyannis isn't particularly vegan friendly, so this stands out as a decent vegan dinner choice. (The better vegan options close at 4pm)

This restaurant offers a vegan menu. I got the vegan quesadilla. It was extremely difficult to eat because of how messy it was. It came with lettuce, olives and sliced tomatoes. Also on the side was their vegan rice, which came with a lot of the non-vegan meals. Besides the salads, there was not many healthy options. Yes, it was vegan but definitely high in carbs sodium, etc. I'm glad that they had a separate menu though, which most restaurants don't have.
