Just throwing my 5 star on the pile. Not sure what else needs to be said that hasn’t already been mentioned in the other reviews. If you’re in the area, it’s a no brainer.

Went twice the same day☆ - Edit
This adorable restaurant convinced us with their friendliness, setting and especially the delicious food at lunch sp that we came back after visiting Mino river to have tea and some sweets. Highly recommended, especially the outside area, as you usually don't sit outside a restaurant in Japan. A very special treat. :)

Wonderful lunch - Edit
Stopped in here for lunch on my way to Minoo Park. I had the Tofu burger as I was craving bread which is very hard to find for vegans in Japan. The burger was amazing and comes with a side of minestrone soup. All up I spent 1300 yen for the meal and an iced latte.
Read moreNice quiet atmosphere and the hosts were lovely too.
Also, hot tip! The tempura maple leaves that the area is famous for can be vegan! I'm not sure if all are but if you walk to Minoo Park and see the stalls, some of them label their packaging with the ingredients. Highly recommend trying these!

Delicious - Edit
Best vegan meal I've had in Japan so far. I got the curry, tiramisu and soy latte. Every dish was beautifully prepared down to the dishware and beautiful wooden spoons. It was healthy, and the staff were really gracious. The tiramisu was one of the best vegan desserts I've ever had. The area and location are really delightful on a sunny day. Minoo has a peaceful countryside feel and this restauraunt helps that vibe sink in. I found it to be very affordable too!

Ghibli Vibe + Good Food - Edit
The restaurant is located in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It feels like you are entering Ghibli world. I ordered tofu burger: the fresh and bouncy buns matched perfectly with the tofu and mayonnaise~

Cute cafe - Edit
Lovely little cafe to have lunch in after taking a walk up to the waterfall. Small and cosy, but you can choose to sit outside too. I had a tofu burger which came with soup, both were delicious. My boyfriend went for the veggie curry which was great too. They also have a few items for sale and a little gallery upstairs.

Great - Edit
Such a cute little café with a gallery on the second floor. The staff is really friendly & the atmosphere is great!
Read moreI had the tofu burger with minestrone soup on the side. The tofu burger was delicious, you can up the size for 200 yen which I recommend if you think food portions in Japan generally are small.
The homemade bun was really fresh & not dry at all - simply delicious.
If I ever decide to go to Osaka again I’ll definitely head there again!

Delicious food in idiclliic surroundings - Edit
This spot is next door to an art gallery, and the cafe itself is also very nicely decorated. The food was delicious. I have the lunch set which was a great tomato and vegetable curry. It came with a selection of side salads. The tofu burger also looked amazing but it just means I'll have to go backt o try that next time!

My new favourite! - Edit
This is my new favourite place. The food's 100% vegan, delicious, organic and cheap. We had lunch for four including drinks and dessert for all and paid less than 5000 yen in total.
Read moreThey have 3 lunch set meals: soup with bread and olive oil, a burger and curry. All for 650~750 yen and they fill you up! You can have a small cup of soup with your meal as well.
I don't usually order soup at restaurants because it's so easy to make yourself but the soup here was incredibly good! And I've never had olive oil as tasty as the one they serve here. I think it has to do with the herbs they put in it. The burger was good too, very crisp and not greasy. We went around three o'clock and the last curry sold out right in front of us. It looked very good but beware it sells out apparently! Still, they had 2 out of 3 lunch set options at three in the afternoon so no worries if you're fancying a late lunch.
We had a muffin, cookies and a parfait for dessert with cereal coffee and lassi for drinks. I did not like the lassi so much because it tasted too much like apple vinegar... But I loved the parfait and the cereal coffee!
The owners are very friendly and they were so happy when I gave them the HC stickers it made my day.

Best spot in japan - Edit
From the 4 weeks i had been in Japan, this has got to be the best vegan restaurant i had visited so far. The building is so pretty and inviting, and the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. Almost reminding me of a distant magical land, i walk in and sit by the windows, the sun shimmering though and toughing my skin. I ordered their recommended Tofu Burger and soup for a modest price and it was pretty good and worth the bucks. They used recycled napkins which is a huge plus!! I would recommend this spot because its outside the outskirts of the bustling Osaka city and around 3km is the Minoo water fall which is a must see

A Gem - Edit
This lovely restaurant is the perfect place to stop after walking around Minoh, and they do lunch until 3 if you're having a slow day! My husband and I both ordered the tofu burger and soup set. It was really delicious but too small for us (we were really hungry), so we ordered an extra and found out you can actually order a larger (more western standard) size if you want instead. We also tried the gluten free strawberry cake which I was really impressed by! The hot chocolate was good too. My only complaint is that they didn't have a nice big salad.

An absolute gem!! Must try! - Edit
We found this mostly by accident as we were looking for a place near Mino Waterfall for lunch.
Read moreThis is one of the best vegan places in Osaka! It can be a bit confusing to find, it is next to a homewares gift shop type place, and there is a gallery above the cafe. It reminded me a lot of small, hipster type cafes in Melbourne (Australia), it looks like a terrace house with a courtyard covered in vines and flowers, wooden furniture and funky decor. There is an English menu.
We had soy french toast, which was light and fluffy. And the tofu burger is simply amazing! It is served in a brichoe type bun and has a yummy sauce.
The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are very friendly (although did not speak much English when we were there - it wasn't really a problem, with gesturing and limited Japanese you should get along just fine!).
I would highly recommend making a trip out to Mino to try this place, and then go for a lovely stroll to the waterfall too!
Pros: Very nice food, Hipster, Melbournian vibe, Friendly staff
Cons: Can be hard to find

Delicious in every way - Edit
The staff is super friendly and there is an English menu. Prices are pretty cheap for Japan and the food is amazing. Must try the chickpea curry which is simple and tomato-based but really delicious, as well as the minestrone soup and tofu burger. I came here twice in one day it was so good! Note that they close quite early, at 6, and stop taking orders around 5:30. So come early for dinner

This little cafe tucked away behind the Minoh Station is an absolute gem! Not only is the food spectacular but the interior is exquisite. Their attention to detail in the decoration is amazing. Also I can honestly say that they served me one of the most delicious vegan burgers that I have ever had in my life. The minestrone soup was also lovely! A must try! Loved it!
