It was surprisingly empty, when we stopped there for a lunch. Place is nice, with nice music playing. You have to order at bar (we didn’t know that and waited for a while until staff told us. I had homemade lemonade and brunch sandwich, quite good.

Its a shame not a lot of happy cow users have come here and this café is empty a lot of time, but why? It has great vegan options. I love their vegan sandwiches and smoothies. And some of their cakes don't contain honey either, so they are actually vegan. The girl behind the counter was also really kind😄

One of my favorite picks in Sofia - Edit
I was lucky enough to spend some time in Sofia during my travels, and the Salted Café was one of my favorite finds. Centrally located, great quality for (decent) price, indoor- and outdoor seating and tasteful design. Would definitely visit again if I return to Sofia!

We came here for set brunch. It was delicious. We had two different wraps - falafel and tofu, urtica soup, raw cakes and soy lattes. Everything was amazing and plentiful. The coffees are huge. One of our best vegan meals since we started travelling six months ago! Brunch is 16/17lv. Cafe has other vegan choices too and vegan cakes. Staff speak English and very friendly. Lovely atmosphere there too.

If you are looking for a good sandwich- this is the place! Great selection of drinks. And desserts! They make the best vegan carrot cake! And if you are looking for a vegan/ vegetarian brunch- this is the place!

When I found salted I was really happy with the atmosphere and style of the cafe. It was a step above most place in Sofia. There was not that many vegan options on the menu but I chose the tofu and avocado ciabata. With the cost being similar to other places in Sofia I expected the portion to be fairly small. Not the case, I was able to get a proper feed here! And it was delicious, the tofu had a really flavoursome marinade, the bread was a super nice texture an the other fillings were also great. I also had an energy ball, a nice little treat but nothing epic. When I visited service was slow as there was only one member of staff, she was working super hard and I think that this was not a normal state of affairs. Despite this the staff member was friendly and very helpful.

Enjoyed our visit to this cafe. The wraps were quite good and the cake was delicious. I don't drink coffee so I can't comment on that. The only downside was that the day we were there there was only one person working and they seemed pretty overworked. They were serving and then running down to the kitchen to make the food. Hopefully that isn't their normal operating conditions.

Nice atmosphere (although they played Shania Twain on repeat when we were there, like the same songs over and over again, which might drive you insane) and good for working or just hanging out. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the food and coffee here. The coffee was so bad neither of us could finish it - super watery. I'm not sure how it came out of an espresso machine, though we saw her making them! The wraps were pretty bland. I wouldn't go out of my way for this place, there are far better options for vegans in Sofia.

5 Stars! Great place! - Edit
We tried the beetroot salad, chickpea sandwich, juices and four different kinds of vegan cakes. Everything was really tasty, healthy and fresh! The young man working there was super friendly and helpful.
