Couple Choices - Edit
We had the Pad Thai and the vegan pizza. Pizza is definitely enough to share, but we were not sure. Pizza was quite good.

We got the quinoa salad and the apple/butternut squash soup - both of which can be made vegan and gluten free. They were fresh and delicious!

Pad Thai didn't taste like Pad Thai - Edit
Ordered the pad thai and it didn't taste anything like pad thai. More resembled a tomato sauce you might use in a seafood pasta dish. Had a bizarre taste. Should have ordered something else.

Beautiful restaurant. small so often packed and I don’t believe they take reservations. I wish they had more vegan options but the sesame peanut noodles, vegan pizza & sandwich are all good.

We had such a good time. The food was very tasty and it was very nice to have an option on a sea of non-vegan restaurants. We had hummus to start and rice noodles afterwards. All was very tasty! Also, the staff was very friendly!

We went at lunch time and it was very busy. The menu had the vegan and vegetarian options marked. I have had bad plain tasting pizzas before but I ordered the one called the vegan pizza. This was so good I was surprised. Even in the picture it doesn't look very special but it was, I will definitely be back.

I just went to the Salt Shaker and learned that the "vegetarian" Pad Thai has ground shrimp in the sauce! Very frustrating, but I enjoyed my pizza. Sadly, no vegan dessert.

I went here expecting that kind of place where there a poorly-executed vegan option just so mixed groups can go. But the food is actually quite good. The vegan pizza is excellent and does not suffer from the lack of cheese substitute, and while the curry does not come with rice, it's well-seasoned.

This is a favourite spot for us! Sunny, cheerful, great staff & atmosphere. Some vegan choices, many vegan options & they are always happy to make or modify to suit any dietary needs. Lunch menu slightly varies from dinner... Often lunch special are vegan. WELL worth the drive from Halifax as this café is super & Lunenburg a fun town to explore :)

A bit blah - Edit
The deli itself is really cute but the selections for vegans are poor. We ordered 3 vegetarian pad thai (vegan), I was the only one that enjoyed it but I still have my complaints. Far too expensive first off for what you get and there were very few noodles. I wouldn't recommend this place for vegans.
